Here are my predictions for the Knicks this year.

Season record: 44-38

Team ppg. 93.00-97.00

Leading Scorer: Allan Houston: 18.00-24.00 ppg.

Leading Rebounder: Dikembe Mutombo: 6.00-9.00 rpg. or Antonio Mcdyess: 6.00-10.00 rpg.

Leading Assists: Charlie Ward: 3.00-5.50 apg.

Strengths: The Knicks have done some good free agent shopping. Let's go on Mutombo. Dikembe Mutombo is a great center from the 2003 eastern conference champions NJ Nets. He should be a good backup for Kurt Thomas or start for the Knicks. Even though the Knicks lost a great veteran Latrell Sprewell the Knicks got Keith Van Horn who averaged 14.8 points in preseason he should be a good addition to the Knicks.

Weaknesses: The Knick hadn't done a good job in the 01-02 and 02-03 season under the coach Don Chaney. The most concerned thing the Knicks should be worrying about is the point guards. The knicks dosen't have a good line up with the point guards Charlie Ward,Howard Eisley, Frank Williams who also scored 18 points against the Nets in the preseason game.

I actually think the knicks will do much better after hearing the Mcdyess news.
Mcdyess Healty 51-31
Mcdyess Out 44-38

Leading Scorers:
Allan Houston 19PPG
Keith 17PPG
Mcdyess 17PPG

Assist:
Frank Williams 4APG
Howard-3APG

Rebounds:
Mutombo 10RPG
Mcdyess 8RPG
Kurt 7RPG

honestly, i don't think there is anyway that the knicks will win 50 games, even with a healthy mcdyess. i think they could be barely above .500 with him though.

Dice said he will be put on the injuried list to start the season...and would be out for AT LEAST the first 5 games of the season....Doesn't look good Knicks fans for a heathly season from Dice..

44 wins. You're kidding right? I'm a Knick fan and even I know better than that. P Diddy will own the Knicks before this group of guys wins that many games in a season.

Yeah, soon as he graduates and becomes a social worker, then he might fit.

You typed too soon, he only scored 2 more the rest of the way, fouled out, and the Knicks choked.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kvh4fan:</div><div class="quote_post">sooo. he still had a good game.</div>

Yes, if you're idea of a good game is to play well for three quarters and disappear in the fourth. Orlando wanted to allow him to take those minute-long, wind-up threes like he did last night. But hey, so long as he's plays well, who cares if the Knicks win.

well i thought he had a good game. it's not every night you get 27 points from keith van horn. if they had won, everyone woulda been like yeah kvh is the best. now that they lost, everyone is dissing because he fouled out. w/e. he played well and carried them through most of the game. enough said. people just don't want to admit that keith had a decent game.

he had a good game for 34 mins and he unloaded a great dissapearing act in the 4th, hey come to think of it if this NBA carrer dosent pan out, he can work in atlantic city and be a magician

Allan Houston and Keith Van horn are getting into a good start now. The NYK should get about high 30's or low 40's game this season.
