I walso want to say I witnessed something last night that I dont think I have seen in at least a few years. Our bench pulled us out from behind in the fourth quarter and completely took over the game.

It was truly an amazing sight to see who was closing out a close competitive game and succeeding at it!!!!

I missed the 2nd half last night, but DVRd it, sounds like it was a good 2nd half!

It's a fun game, way more intense than a preseason game had any right to be.

The young Suns came out, played hard and talked some shit. That trash talking ratcheted up the intensity. It deserved and received a proper response from our guys.

As Trevor Booker pointed out, they had three teenagers in at the end of the game that need to learn how to close out games. One of the things they need to learn is to have the maturity to not talk shit to your opponent's when the outcome is not yet decided.

Marguese Chriss was talking shit after every dunk, and Noah Vonleh calmly took him to the wood shed on the other end. Note to Chriss, hook shots and wide open jumpers count for just as many points as highlight reel dunks.

After years of tanking, people are saying Sam Hinkie's plan in PHI may finally start to pay off, but then I look at PHO's teenagers and think they have a better balanced, younger roster and didn't have to be the worst team in the league for several seasons to get it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Good god, nba.com has gone from being a very professional, very usable web site to an unusable laughing stock in less than four months. Whoever is in charge of their web site needs to be fired NOW.

Sometimes when you win, you really lose, and sometimes when you lose, you really win, and sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie, and sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose.

Or at least so I learned from White Men Can't Jump...

It was a horrible call by a ref who was out of position. Typical NBA.

What did you think about that foul called on Vonleh for the two-hand block? (or was that the call they booed on?)

I thought the Grant Jerrett airball was way worse. Vonleh was letting Chriss HAVE it in crunch time.

He made up for it with a big block at the end though. I like Jerrett, but boy that shot was oooogly.

Not to say you're wrong because Booker did move his feet on defense there.
But Booker also had two hands on CJ above the ft line when you're technically not even allowed one.
I personally don't like how CJ waited until 6.9 on the clock before he started to make his move. So I believe it was a bad end of quarter possession anyway.
But a foul is a foul.

This. I yelled HANDCHECK! Don't think the refs heard me though. (Technically it's a push since 2 hands were used)

That's the one I was talking about. It was a horrible call by an out of position ref. Then I watch him report and he calls it a push. Well, Vonleh jumped straight up in his verticle plane and all contact (all of which was marginal) was initiated by the offensive player.

The first boo was when Dudley wasn't touched but started holding his face... punk ass.

I gotta admit that I almost posted some crap about Vonleh early in the game. Based on his unimpressive summer league and then early in this game, he seemed to be just a little bit in the wrong place all the time and didn't seem to have any touch as far as tipping in rebounds. Still not convinced he is gonna be a player. His main work was done against a very in-experienced rookie and Phoenix never crowded him, which is a situation in which he tends to be very uncomfortable. Hopefully this game gives him some confidence and he can keep getting better.

Why is everyone on Napier's nuts? The guy is a score first ball hogging, no good defending undersized PG.
wow....! I like Shabazz.....unusual post from you BGD...never seen you single out a player like that
