Diminished at all? I guess technically it has slightly, as long as they are one of the worst teams in the NBA.

But I watched their game tonight against Denver and D'angelo Russel and Nick Young are real easy to loathe, so if they ever start winning I am sure my hatred will return in full force.

Right now my hatred is a 9 on a scale of 1-10. It won't take much to return to 10.

They are a pretty terrible team. I am quite amazed at how they could draft the second best player in the draft (or even the best) and then pick up Luol Deng at a bad price to steal minutes away from him.

If you're going to tank, then tank properly. Paying big money to players like Deng and Mozgov is completely pointless.

They did tank properly for 3 years. It just didn't work out as well as they wanted. If it takes more years than that, then it is not worth it. Randle, D'Angelo, and Inrgam are all good players,but thankfully none will "transcend" the game like the media/fans felt would happen by tanking.

I think /hope they have some decent players this year to win enough games so their pick finally goes to Philly. I really don't want them getting another shot at the #1 pick. So there will be times this year I will be rooting for them to win. (i.e against OKC, Clippers, Minny, Utah, GS, SA, Houston, Dallas.....)

I will always have a certain disdain for the Lakers. I think the fact that they suck so bad at the moment, means they are being talked less about, and so the ire is less. But, I'm sure one day in the far future they will have a playoff level team again, and the seething hatred for the purple and gold will bubble to the surface in Portland again.

I watched them play the Nuggets and though the Nugs were terrible on defense...the Lakers shot lights out from deep....a lot of their young guys were shooting well...the Lakers are going to be a team you don't want to take for granted just because they lack stars now...without Kobe, they have more balanced scoring
