Hey, when the dude yells at me that i'm fucking clueless and you guys let it go, it feels like bias. Happens often that others are checked, but he isn't. I could see why he thinks he is special. You guys treat him special.
All good, but If you don't check him the same as others, then its obvious there is bias.

Most likely, what posters identify as "bias" or "double-standards" on the mods' part is more a difference in perception. Two statements that one poster may view as comparable can be viewed by the mod as significantly disparate. I've had conversations--both public and private--with people telling me "if <statement x> is edited/deleted, then <statement y> should be too", when I saw them as on completely different levels, and explained my reasoning as to why (after which the poster still thought I was wrong, which happens). Occasionally the mods themselves diverge on what is and isn't a violation of the TOS.

Often, reasonable people can disagree without it being as nefarious as some might make it out to be.

If you'd like to PM me with posts that you believe deserve to edited, but weren't, I'm always willing to review and edit/delete if it seems appropriate, or provide an explanation for why I wouldn't.

Really I could care less until there is seriously actual bias. Nobody is perfect. Just making sure its acknowledged that for all the shit I get from some people around here that everyone seems to like, I never started anything and only had a rebuttal. Cause it sure feels like most people around here think I start this shit.

Why? Because these things are disrespectful. I am in a very public position, there is no room for error when you're visible throughout the community.

Yeah, you need to be really careful in this day and age. Offend enough people with insulting, demeaning online comments and you might even get elected president, or something.

Every time i have been out of line Sly has sent me a private message and set me straight. I kind of liked it that way because he didn't put me on blast in front of everyone. Then we come up with a way to handle it and usually agree on the best route. Problem solved and i usually go on my merry way.

I did call him a cat lover once i think. That was pretty low...

Yes, I have asked @HCP to stop. I think I might have even said please. I have asked many of you to do that from time to time because I don't get why some of you enjoy picking at each other so much.

And by "you" I'm not directly calling you out. You as in you all.

And as far as me being biased. I truly try not to be. I truly try to play things as fair as possible. I allow people to insult me as sort of a pressure relief valve for the forum. But to be honest, some of it has gotten really personal and it hurts because I don't say shit like that to anyone on here. Shit about my father, my mother, my dead grandson, me being a racist, I'm biased, I lack integrity. Some of you have a pretty low opinion of me as a human or dog being.

And no OB, I'm saying you've said any of this, just venting.... and rambling.

I wish you guys would stop picking at each other. It's no fun for me and for people having to read it that aren't involved.

I've only read the post in which OB tagged me in. I have no idea what you all are arguing over and upset about. I promise I will go back later and read it all and give the most fair and unbiased opinion that I possibly can.

Idk what’s going on with all this but I’d just like to say I think you do a great job managing a bunch of man babies around here! I really appreciate all the work you do and even in my rookie year you let me come to the game with a bunch of you and I still look back on that with a lot of fondness. You do a lot to make this forum great.
