You’re aday early (where I’m at).
Also if anything I’m saying here is too offensive I can calm it down / keep it to myself, I will readily admit I’m not the most knowledgeable source on politics and it’s a mistake for me to get very involved discussing it because I just don’t know enough.

Its Monday where you're at?

Black unemployment reached a record low: 6.8 percent. That’s the lowest black unemployment has been since the Bureau of Labor Statistics began tracking unemployment, which started in 1972. “The lowest in nearly 5 decades and a credit to [President Donald Trump’s] economic policies!!” tweeted White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah.

And how about a GDP growth rate of 4.1%...

We are experiencing the best economy in over a decade and Trump is actually helping minority’s much more than Obama ever did.

It’s ok for LeBron to call Trump a bum and spread a false nararitive about Trump... on matters he spends ZERO time researching... just running with a CNN headline. I’m a fan of LeBron and love the things he does for the community, but him blaming Trump for dividing the country is a joke. How about CNN and liberal media not focusing on facts and trying to falsely turn everything into a race issue to try to get votes in next election... or Kaepernick saying America sucks... but LeBron says Trump is the one dividing America... ok.

It’s really sad how entrenched people are with their party affiliations and not willing to dig deep for information and be open minded... they just accept opinion based headlines in media as fact...

This post has it all.
Citing the fakenews cnn/liberals push.
Only to cite some alternative facts Fox news/conservatives push.
Then it goes on to speak about entrenched posistions based on party affiliations.
Man @BonesJones and @dviss1 are right. Sometimes it's difficult to not push. 'show ignored content'.

It could have imo worse if HC had won. Im neither Trump or Clinton fan. What I am is a Libertarian that endorse small efficient gov and moderate on social issues and fiscal conservative.

The freaking media and partisan views on both sides are so polarized, self serving and to egotistical to at least try and agree/compromise on issues. IMO, when the ability for a democracy loses the ability to come together with both sides willing to compromise some, its basically civil war..

Gotta disagree. We couldn't have a worse president than trump. The man acts like an 8th grade bully.

This is starting to depress the shit out of me.

I don't like his conduct either but HRC is a black widow! She's to far left and her complete open border policy is crazy!

A bit back on topic...

From what little I've read on it, (so I could be missing some details) I really like what LeBron is doing for his community. And I'm a huge fan of acting locally before nationally or globally. (I'd rather, for instance, LBJ do this than, say, give $50M to the Gates Foundation or something). But I feel like private charity is being demonized by many who want it to be socialized and nationalized--and by people that LBJ supports. Hospitals, youth centers, social services, schools---almost all have, over the last century, gone from private (and mostly religious-based) to public (and mostly overpriced and much poorer quality). This is an interesting case for me.

Hahaha. I actually thought it was Sunday. :)

Even Melania is coming out against her husband on this...thats funny

I thought Merkel was terrible, but you guys have the worst President in the History of humanity. LeBron makes school for children and is paying the college for thousands of students and Trump insults him? Wtf

He is an embarrasment. As an American I can't stand that this hutt represents my country. He doesn't represent me or my beliefs.

...why would someone bother to use an "ignore" button...and then complain about the content when they then bypass that button by intentionally clicking on "show ignored content" in order to purposely show what they supposedly wanted to ignore in the first place?

Why would someone complain about what they interpret as someone else complaining.
The conundrum.

But I feel like private charity is being demonized by many who want it to be socialized and nationalized-
I couldn't disagree more...my cousin was born deaf...he went to a catholic funded school for the deaf that was wonderful...if not for private individuals like Maria Montessori...mentally ill people would still be imprisoned in filth....Josephine Baker after winning medals for the French resistance in WWII took her money and raised over 30 impoverished children from all over the world...Doctors without borders ...Tsi Chi Buddhist foundation were supported by Jane Goodhall and the Dalai Lama....they are first responders to all international disasters...Fred Hampton from the Black Panther Movement spent his efforts feeding children in Chicago before he was murdered...didn't have a violent bone in his body...there are countless examples of successful charitable generosities that come from all sorts of groups and Lebron fits the mold....I personally don't see these things as poor quality or substandard or in many cases, expensive...govt's who are charitable should be included...not politicized. Jimmy Carter's habitat for humanity..UNICEF all.great work. Alcoholics Anonymous has saved countless lives...it's a really long list. I don't think most people demonize these charitable acts for any reasons...there are many who may want to socialize things like mental health care...senior diabled services...etc..I've cared for disabled seniors for many years ….without the service it would be absolutely horrible for those folks...sadly in many cases their children or families don't want to take on the care of their own disabled family members In my cousins case...the school for the death had access to educational materials and professional training my family could not provide...I'll always be grateful to them....Lebron's school is really well planned..job services for parents...food baskets...medicines...it's truly a community center

PS Kaepernick isn’t saying America sucks. Hes saying it’d be really great if cops stopped treating black people like shit. Not all cops. But a whooooollleeee lotta cops seem to beat and shoot black people. He’s protesting the treatment of black people. He’s not protesting the flag and hasn’t said he hates America.

Oh no, you used the C word. Brian hates the C word.

... there's no conundrum...and it wasn't a complaint...it was a simple question.

Counterpoint: Not every community has a LeBron James. And even if all of them did, none of them would try to cure malaria...

Acting locally is great if there's some equality to start with, or a random LBJ individual - but otherwise it keeps poor communities poor.

I think there is need for both - it isn't an either/or question.

What is a "complete open border policy".
Virtually no immigration process, no border, come and go like many Euro countries. I personally believe you need to manage immigration and come in legally. I believe in balance and a solid policy on immigration. And i don't think that make me a racist, alt righter or wacko, I'm just a concerned American citizen that whats some, order with the boarder, just like Canada and Mexico do.

Seems you and HRC agree.

Our Racist President showing just how racist he is again.
I have been seeing this specific thing by the outraged and I don't understand it. I completely disagree with the Trump tweet and think it's stupid however the whole watering down of words like racist needs to stop. How on earth is what he said in that tweet racist? there is nothing racist about it. Trump has shown that anybody who says something about him, he comes back with a childish immature response. Same thing here. Then to get even more petty at the end he said he likes Mike. Some of you need to chill calling everything racist. You just fall into that trap and it's ridiculous

Where do you get the idea that Clinton was for that? Most people want a humane method of border control. Trump lies when he says the Dems want open borders.
