It's been a nightmare summer for Rasta.

And he's a turnover machine. His career TOV% of 23.6 is flat our embarrassing for a so-called veteran PG. Hell, that's embarrassing for a rookie PG (Sergio says "Hi"). His career AST% of 24.9 is also pretty abysmal for a veteran PG who can't shoot or create his own shot. The rap on Lillard is he can't run an offense or set up his teammates, but his career AST of 27.7 is higher than Prigioni's and Lillards career TOV% of 12.9 is about half of Prigioni's. I know the OP wasn't looking to replace Lillard with Prigioni, but he's a pretty unimpressive performer to be teaching our young guys. What's he going to teach them, how to miss shots and turn the ball over? Those seem to be his two biggest "strengths".

So yeah, let him take his old, slow, turnover plagued game to the Clippers.

That's a great pick up for MIN. They got a veteran who can really help their young guys get easy baskets and build their confidence. They also now have a durable PG that can take over when Rubio has his annual injury.

Unleash the scorn, but if we really need a mentor, bring back Steve Blake. He wants to be here (a very important trait right now), he's another coaches kid with a high basketball IQ, and the guy is tough as nails. He's not afraid to lead by example and to back his boys up by getting in a opposing miscreant's face. Yeah, he's old and breaking down. I get that. But he's our homey and a good dude. And his wife is hotter than a two dollar pistol.....that never hurts.
