It seems to me that if this is truly the case. The F.B.I., C.I.A or whatever agency should be all over this. I mean they are literally talking about this right out in the open. If our government doesn't stop this in its tracks, this was all for show and we have been meant to lose our democracy all along. If congress allows Trump to take the oath of office, providing he wins in November, they will literally be betraying America.

How many of these talking points come directly from the organizers of Project 25? The stated goal on their website is to get people into administrative positions that support conservative views and the Trump agenda. That's kind of what elections are about.

Contrast this to the way lefty's called for anyone supporting Trump to be fired and to be blacklisted from every working again. The left does things then wrings it's hands at the idea that the right might do the same. Total projection.

Looks like the poll numbers are not great for some of this bullshit. But to claim that Trump has no idea what it is and who is behind it is more bullshit. Trump really doesn't know who Stephen Miller is? Steve Bannon? The Heritage Foundation? All of these and more are openly talking about and supporting Project 2025. Trump saying that he will a dictator his first day in office is in direct support of this.

Project 2025 was supposed to boost Donald Trump's campaign — but it may be backfiring instead

There might be conservative backlash that goes too far. But most are not in favor of extremism. But you also have to understand the context of some of this backlash. We had the top teachers union in the US petition the DOJ to investigate parents as domestic terrorists, and the DOJ instruct the FBI to surveil them on that basis. One of the incidents that sparked it was a father who was very angry at the school board because his daughter was raped in the bathroom by a trans girl. This is just one example, but left does crap like this then wonders why they are hated.

Also, department of Justice under Trump's personal control. No independent judiciary. Trump would decide who to prosecute.
I doubt he would really try to jail Biden, Liz Cheney etc. although I could be wrong. Those prosecutions would have huge publicity and those people are powerful enough to fight back. More likely election workers, public health workers, those with low profile and no power.

Project 2025 doesn't just abolish Department of Education. It would end Title IX enforcement,which is credited with expanding women's sports. It would require every public school student to take military vocational test. Wealthy people, who send children to private schools, and private religious school students ate exempt. It would institute nationwide book bans, and reconstitute discredited 1776 project to prepare "patriotic education". Ban any teaching about race or gender issues. Eliminate student aid.

As a far left extremist I’m a little insulted when republicans think democrats are anything like us. I enjoy the online company of a lot of you, but I don’t hold any illusions that there are more than three people on this site in the same political zip code as me.
 
For a group that claims liberals hate America and want to destroy it and only they can save it, the GOP sure love to push an agenda that seemingly comes off as America hating and one that hates most Americans.
