Actually quite a bit to get excited about with the Pack now. Sykora has taken his game to another level. On a shit team with a lot of vets who suck. he's a plus and now has 12 goals after working on his shot all off-season. He should be used to shadow players like Hughes every time but the organization is fucking stupid and has no clue how to use the kid while they suck Sheary's dick who is banging the coaches niece. Roobroeck scored 20 goals last year. He should have started the season with the big club. IMO, it's another example of young players looking at several rejects on the big club and probably saying WTF am I wasting my time with this dumbass organization. Aiden Thompson who was a great college player for Denver and who Drury acquired via trade is off to a nice start for the Pack. He's a bit older but should be worth watching. Not the biggest Lamb guy but should be interesting to see if he does anything there. Pack coach should be fired. It's obvious he has no fucking clue what he's doing. Pack should have a ton of young players coming next season. I think Greentree will make the big club. He's getting like 6 to 8 shots a game in juniors. Dumbass rule that kept him from playing in the AHL is going to be changed soon. Thank God. Fortescue probably needs a year in the AHL. Aspinall will be in the AHL next year. If they draft a Euro high he can play in the AHL which is a good idea IMO. Don't know if Gonchar is eligible. He played in a Russian league for 2 years. He's actually come on offensively. He has 51 points now. Emery will be eligible to play in the AHL next season and he should do so. A year and a half of AHL hockey will do him much more than staying in college hockey as a defensive defenseman. The farm system needs to be upgraded more. Let's hope our reject scouts either are fired or figure it out.

My concern with Sykora is his size, been down that road of misery with small agitators. Perreault on the other hand has adapted to the NHL style despite being small yet Sullivan keeps holding him back. Write a letter about a rebuild then don't develop the pieces of the rebuild. Drury signed an AHL dman Phip Waugh, decent size bit questionable talent.

Interesting stat, average tenure of NHL coach that isn't Jon Cooper 2.3 years so the Rangers coaching changes are more the norm now. I think Drury deserves credit for hitting way above average on draft picks as far as Rangers GMs are concerned and he's made some good trades. Clearly the reason for the Rangers lack of success has been a lack of consistent effort by many of their premier players. Gotta say Dump, your boy Laf had me convinced he'd turned the corner and was going to put up a 60+ point season a month ago but now he's scratching to beat his career best, need to move on from his lazy ass before another NTC kicks in.
