Junior Update
Rangers 2013 third-round pick Adam Tambellini continued his smooth transition into the Western Hockey League this week with a goal and one assist in two games for the Calgary Hitmen. The 19-year-old center now has four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 11 games since leaving the NCAA.

Lindberg has 18 points in his last 17 games. Have to wonder what his point totals would be if Fast had stayed healthy all season and Miller was there all season with him.

Boo Nieves has been so bad this year, I almost would suggest to him if I was the Rangers to go play in Sweden for a couple of years. Develop a brain for the game and see how the Swedes play. He's clearly not ready for the AHL. He has one goal in 24 games. He has sucked this season. One article on his crap season.

The ability is certainly there with Nieves, but like Kreider in some ways, in these NCAA programs they become almost to unselfish and team oriented. I still see that in Kreider where he defers instead of using that great shot, but he's getting better that way.

Right on target 71. I love kreids but I'll be glad when he gets more of the kiss my ass stepan and nash your not as fast, can't keep up with me and I'm not waiting for u 2 any longer attitude. I noticed also the last couple of games him shooting more which he needs to do with his shot but still have some cringeworthy plays when he goes out of his way seemingly to get a pass to nash or stepan. I'm hoping AV is telling him what us fans used to yell at Beck Shoot the puck Kreids shoot the god damn puck.

Problem is that no center is really as fast as Kreider. You aren't getting somebody like Seguin.

Duclair had a quiet game last night. 1 A only. Tambellini was held pointless. Miller had a big game for the Pack. 2 g 2 A, now has 25 points in 21 AHL games. He's surely going to be a good NHL player. Lindberg and Fast with an assist.

Buchnevich is starting to really progress from what ive seen. He's probably the best offensive talent they have in system.

71, you think better than duclair? If yes, that would be great

Close I guess, but keep in mind Buchnevich is playing in the KHL already, Duclair is in a junior league. Kristo and Nieves in the mix too. Tambellini perhaps.

What's the deal with Baranka, is he still Ranger property?

That hack Renney promptly ruined his career. Sent him to the minors when he was clearly the best defenseman in camp. I think he's playing for the Russian Olympic team.

Yeah I saw him, and Immonen yesterday in the same game.lol

It was just absurd that tool played scrubs like Hollweg, Ortmeyer, J. Ward ect over guys like Immonen. Not to mention the dopes he used on defense over Baranka.

On a brighter note. Tambellini had a hat trick last night. Kid is beyond a beanpole. He needs to add at least 30 pounds before he could play in the AHL.

Both having such stellar careers in the nhl .....oh wait never mind.

Are you a moron? I just stated that both were screwed over by Renney for a bunch of scrubs that couldn't play you dense meathead. Once again, you attempt to be a troll. Why can't you accept the fact that Renney ruined their careers? Both players made their Olympic team and it's not like the Fins or Russians have scrubs making those teams. You still can't accept the fact that coaches ruin the careers of prospects because they are stupid. How many freakin years did we watch Torts not keep lines together to develop chemistry. AV in a half a season did what Torts couldn't. Built some lines with chemistry.

I'll you two guys that Torts was well on his way to ruining with their NHL careers. Zucc and Kreider. He spent 3 seasons jerking Zucc around trying to make him a shot blocker. He actually convinced me Zucc couldn't play he was such a dumbass. He was starting to do the same thing with Kreider. You think Kreider and Zucc would have done jack with that imbecile Renney coaching this team? If you do, stop watching this sport.

Clownarella is on the fast track to be bounced out of vancouver after one season. No playoffs and has achieved a miracle in that I think in the last month neither of the sedin twins have scored. Krieds would still be being jerked around back and forth to the ahl and frodo would be cut already and trying out for a part in Lord Of the Rings 4

I don't give a crap where is. The point is he is playing on a good Olympic squad because he's a good talent. Renney ruined him.

Again. No NHL team had traded for these great Olympians. Why is that? And let's not forget that AV sent Kreider down this season too. Any chance the kid thought too highly for himself.

The very best would want to be playing in the NHL. Yet immonen and branka don't.

Btw. Its michael branka on the Czech team. And look at Finland's roster...Laurie korpokoski is on it...a lot of offensive talent on that team

Immonen was an injury replacement btw.

Al has this absurd idea that coaches in the NHL can do no wrong. That they always play the best talents. That they know how to play the best talents. Puhlease. Just look at how many coaches get fired every season in professional sports. Most coaches are complete morons. They try to play players to fit to a system instead of playing players to their strengths. I've grown tired of trying to explain that to Al. At this point, I consider him on the level of DDD with his hockey knowledge. He should go to that board.

Btw Al, try reading Stepan's post about Baranka. Further proof you are a troll Al who ignores all the posts in a thread other than mine. I'll just start calling you DDD from now on.
