You're obviously a walmart shopping redneck birther. At least that what Bill Mahar tells him what to think.

As someone in your mid-30's that is kinda of an outgrown frat boy, you can't tell me you don't enjoy watching Bill Maher.

Democrats have the Asian base in their back pocket. No worries.

we should drone more children to death to teach them a lesson about true power

Presidentin' is hard. Better sleep all last night and hit Vegas for some money.

Went to bed knowing the US ambassador was missing, and wake up knowing he is dead?

Let's hit Vegas!!! Letterman next week, too. Can't forget that, because it's more important than staying in DC to meet with Netanyahu.

LAS VEGAS — President Barack Obama is in Las Vegas for a quick campaign stop focusing on economic policies.
Air Force One touched down at McCarran International Airport at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday for the president's eighth appearance this year in Nevada.
Obama will speak before a Democratic campaign audience at a convention hall just north of downtown Las Vegas before departing for Denver.
His day began in Washington with word that the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans were killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Obama's visit comes after Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney addressed a National Guard Association convention on Tuesday in Reno.
Both candidates are wooing voters in a presidential battleground state with six electoral votes at stake Nov. 6.

BREAKING - Egyptian security forces have used tear gas on a raging crowd of demonstrators near the US Embassy in Cairo. Several dozen people have reportedly been injured as the police dispersed the stone-throwing demonstrators.

Riot police have managed to push a group of several hundred protesters back in Cairo's side streets near the embassy.*

Some of the protesters have been injured, state news agency MENA reported, giving no further details. Witnesses reporting the incident on Twitter said as many as several dozen people may have been injured.

The incident comes just a day after some 2,000 demonstrators gathered around the US embassy, while a group of the most conservative protesters tore down the American flag and replaced it with a black banner bearing the traditional Islamic message, “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet.”

Hey, maybe Obammy is catching a Wayne Newton show in Vegas tonight?

yes, obama invented needlessly killing people

He's used drones more than Bush ever dreamed of using them.

Stupid Shrub! His fault for not just bombing based on video surveillance!

Bush's fault for actually using ROE and prosecuting members of the military who didn't adhere to them!!

Who wants to make a bet about about whether or not the assassination of a US ambassador in Libya will make above the fold, A1 news in the Oregonian tomorrow?

$20 seems like an easy bet. First come, first serve. My bet is NO, it won't. Probably A3, maybe.

jeez why does everything always lead back to bush for you people? :MARIS61:

Whoops, Obama's lies already being refuted. Good thing he's on the teevee right now rallying a crowd in Vegas!

President Obama claims Libyan security forces fought beside Americans against attackers on Tuesday, but a Libyan official says they gave up consulate personnel to the Islamists who murdered them. Libya's Deputy Interior Minister Wanis al-Sharif says the consulate's security forces moved Ambassador Christopher Stevens and other personnel to a second, safer building once the attacks began. But, he continues, the security forces told the attackers which building Stevens was hiding in, effectively handing him over.

On a side note.... Romney played this wrong. The parade of Democrats through the MSNBC studios today used this horrible event (Libya) as a political football thanks to Romney's remarks. Romney twice played the "apology tour" card in response to this. If I were advising him, and he'd listen, I'd have said something like, "Libya is the Solyndra of Obama's foreign policy. He tried to pick winners and losers, spent a lot of taxpayer money on it, and the investment went bad." And, "We've not suffered this kind of foreign policy failure since the Iranians took americans hostage during the Carter administration."

Link two Obama failures together (Libya, Solyndra) and link Obama to Carter and his foreign policy failures.

Then the parade of Democrats through the MSNBC studios would have a lot more excuses to make.

Wow, the Dems on MSNBC blamed Romney for today. I'M SO FUCKING SHOCKED!!

Jeebus, really? LOL

I can't wait for the foreign policy debate. That should be fun. The two countries where Obama replaced leadership attacked the US embassy. Good luck with that one. Having your hand-picked Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff call some pastor in Florida to try and blame him for some video that he didn't make, a pastor that nobody cares or has heard about other than left-wing blogs, isn't leadership, by the way. It's desperation.

we'd be listening to a different republican candidate right now.

Rick Perry was my choice, until the stupid right-wing of the GOP smeared him as pro-immigration and pro-big government, when he actually has realistic views on both topics. Hell, even the Bush's tried to run Kay Bailey Hutchinson against him in a primary, yet Perry won it.

Rule one of being in a hole. When in one, STOP DIGGING.

Perry was your choice? LoL, he's as big of a bigot as it gets. He doesn't like gays or blacks.

They didn't blame Romney for today. Romney came out twice and misstated the facts and made a ridiculous accusation against the administration. Many prominent republicans did the double face palm and publicly said he was wrong.

When you read this link, note that the embassy made their public statement BEFORE the crowd assaulted the compound.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-13/romney-criticized-for-handling-of-libya-protests-death.html

In a Jacksonville, Florida, news conference yesterday, Romney said the Obama administration set a “terrible course” when the U.S. embassy in Cairo issued a statement the Republican nominee called “akin to apology” for Egyptian protesters before the death of U.S. envoy to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya.

Romney’s comments came just hours after his campaign issued a separate statement late on Sept. 11 -- near the close of the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on U.S. soil -- that the Obama administration’s “first response” had been to “sympathize with those who waged the attacks,” calling it “disgraceful.”

As protesters gathered outside, the embassy initially posted a message Sept. 11 on the social networking site Twitter saying, “Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy.” About an hour later, it released a statement saying it condemned “the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims -- as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions.”

“It’s a terrible course for America to stand in apology for our values,” Romney told reporters at the Jacksonville news conference yesterday where supporters, who’d gathered for a previously scheduled event, looked on through windows. “Instead, when our grounds are being attacked and being breached, the first response of the United States must be outrage at the breach of the sovereignty of our nation.”

This thread has an even bigger disconnect from reality than the 9-11 truther thread.

I'm in awe.

The Coptic Christians in Egypt would have protested as well, since Obama put them in a terrible spot, but they would have been slaughtered like sheep by the Muslims rioting at the US Embassy.

Nice job in Egypt, Obama, you fucking failure.

Libya too. I notice that Obama has yet to put out a statement about the US consulate worker killed today while the animals were attacking the US embassy there.

He's a fucking failure on the economy, and he's a fucking failure in foreign policy. Hey, at least he supports gay marriage, but won't do anything substantive to actually change the law regarding it!!

Why is this Obama's fault?

“And obviously [our] hearts are broken for the families but I wanted to encourage those folks at the State Dept. that they were making a difference,” Obama told volunteer leaders in Las Vegas, according to the pool report. “The sacrifices that our troops and our diplomats make are obviously very different from the challenges that we face here domestically but like them, you guys are Americans who sense that we can do better than we’re doing….I’m just really proud of you.”

- Barack Obama to volunteers in Vegas 9/12/12

Odd how he says "like" in comparison to the troops overseas.

It's all about Barry. He's toast.

Why is this Obama's fault?

Did the entire removal of Mubarak by Obama escape you? You do realize that hundreds of Coptic Christians have been slaughtered in Egypt since Mubarak was removed, right?

General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, called a Florida pastor on Wednesday and asked him to withdraw his support for a film whose portrayal of the Prophet Mohammad has been linked to violent protests - including one that ended with the death of America's envoy to Libya.

"In the brief call, Gen. Dempsey expressed his concerns over the nature of the film, the tensions it will inflame and the violence it will cause," Dempsey's spokesman, Colonel Dave Lapan, told Reuters.

U.S. military officials are concerned that the film could inflame tensions in Afghanistan, where 74,000 U.S. troops are fighting. The Taliban called on Afghans on Wednesday to prepare for a fight against Americans and urged insurgents to "take revenge" on U.S. soldiers over the film.

"He told me he had seen the film and that the film was pornographic ... and very, very bad. He asked me not to support it," Pastor Terry Jones told Reuters.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff watches porn?

Amazing!

They are rioting at the US Embassy in Yemen, now.
