I speculated sometime back that management would encourage longer absences for smaller injuries, and that a player might get into trouble.

I was thinking of when they gave Zach 3 games off just because his girlfriend's brother died, and he visited the strip club to say goodbye before flying out. Portland moralists were in an uproar for years.
