Basically Neil needs to land impact players from both free-agency and the draft. No more projects.

Who are those players? I'm guessing he's looking more at uneven trades rather than signing a free-agent straight out. Maybe take a gigantic risk and look at Bynum? or trade for Eric Gordon?

Impact players in the draft? You're going to have to hope to land a pick in the top-10.

Zeller? Len? Burke?

I think this roster is a ways away. Neil will definitely have to work some magic.

I would be happy with the Center and Bench upgrades. Wes is fine by me as along as we get the other two addressed.

The problem is in a small market you can't depend on free agency like you can if you where in a big market. You can't just throw it out there just because you have tons of cap space and expect someone big to come to your team. I'm not saying the free agent thing is a bust in a small market just I would like to see the Blazers have more focus on the trading aspect.

I believe that would improve the NBA. I know they have some incentives, but it would be nice if it was a bigger portion of the contracts.

I dunno, this team has some problems.

We all know how in love with the 3pt shot they are. The 3pointer is the primary shot for Lillard, Batum, and Matthews. However, as a team they are ranked 28th in 3pt%. On defense, they also rank near the bottom in in terms of FG% allowed.

I'm not seeing the "free flowing" offense or increased fast breaking that Stotts was supposed to bring. Just the same jump shooting based offense that has plagued this team for the last decade.

With no real superstar, you need to be 8-10 deep in talent to compete with the super teams. Blazers are 4-5 deep.

You're fucking crazy if you think management will take on a health risk like Bynum with our history. I do agree that when healthy, Bynum is the best center in the league. Problem.... He usually isn't healthy
