I haven't listened to this one yet, but from the past ones I have listened to, I think that Joe Freeman did a much better job in the chat. Seemed into it a lot more.

It sounded like Quick's dog got run over. I am less energetic for listening to it because JQ sucked my life essence through my speakers down into the Interwebz.

Quick chat over. Might've been the grumpiest chat ever. For some reason, I get the feeling that Quick has sort of an a-hole personality or thinks he's better than other people

Yeah... I have a hard time believing it either. I've never seen whoever's on the bench cheer so much for what's happening on the floor than this season.

Took me all of 5 minutes to get my first ban :( Oh well........... I didn't see the point of him coming on if he wasn't going to talk about potential trades or for that matter possibly throwing names out there that might fit this team. The only name he mentioned was Butler and didn't know if we could trade for him. Seems to me if my job is to cover the Blazers this is a pretty important trade deadline, you might want to do some research to see what type of deals could be made.

I had to turn that off after a few minutes because it was such a downer. Sean was scrambling for stuff to ask Quick, and Quick sounded like he just found out his girlfriend was boinking Joe Freeman.
 
it was like sean was asking his boss questions just too make awkward conversation.

I would agree with this. Our back-up power forward right now is T-Law. That is a joke. We need a hard nosed backup to LA, and Kurt Thomas would feel that need quite well. Unfortunately, the Spurs also like have tough defensive players and wouldn't give him up.
 
yeah i dled it wish i didnt but i might as well listen to it..yeah quick sounds annoyed at sean....wow ohok i lied i stopped it not even halfway threw quick sound bored uninterested and annoyed at sean for asking questions and acks like sean knows nothing about basketball. man give me the msp boys or mikemikebrian any day.

Oh you clearly do not remember the Quick chat from about three years ago. It was an instant classic and easily the grumpiest and most dramatic internet chat I have ever heard.

There are a group of guys on OLive that give Quick shit for his sometimes crappy reporting and his general negative stance during our 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 season. He would just find the most random negative things to report about and this group of guys just got tired of it and his kinda uppity attitude in the Quick chat. So one day I guess Quick has had enough of it because he literally starts yelling during the chat calling out forum posters by their exact screen names and just shit talking them. Saying they're a bunch of little know-nothing punks who bitch no matter what he does and that they don't know shit.

Of course his language was tamer but it was the most hilarious thing because he sounded so pissed off that it was almost like he was going to cry. I couldn't stop giggling over it for weeks.

I would've loved to have heard that one. I actually like Quick, and think he's a good writer, his feature pieces are awesome, but man.. today just wasn't a good day for him.
 
i felt bad for sean.... quick was a real downer.

first thing he says.... blazers lose tonight vs GS.
