My guess is that you didn't see him play in a blazer uniform.Claver wants to come back to the NBA where his stat avg was 2 ppg and 2 Reb or asst forgot to look at the 2nd part of his stats for last year. I think a trained gorilla could do better then that and while he might be a nice guy etc please just NO
Upgrading from Melo and Enis could improve the Blazers a lot. Still want Simmons for CJ though.Dame’s biggest complaint seems to be urgency. Maybe changing guys out on the bench for guys who are hungry and will do anything to win is enough for the start of the process?
Me too. It would be hugeUpgrading from Melo and Enis could improve the Blazers a lot. Still want Simmons for CJ though.
Give me Whiteside all day. He can do everything that Kanter does offensively. But defensively he’s levels above KanterWas Enes really an upgrade from what we got from Hassan Whiteside two years ago? Whiteside made like the minimum too.
The best predictor of tomorrow is....yesterday.If this is right, anyone having any faith in Olshey's basketball acumen needs to schedule an appointment with a medical professional.
"Although Olshey has never publicly admitted it, he knows he failed last season in not recognizing a bench centered around Carmelo Anthony and Enes Kanter was fatally flawed from a defensive standpoint."
Seriously? He failed to recognize Kanter/Melo was a defensive disaster? Un-freaking-believable!
I just don't trust Neil to do anything different than he has done in the previous 9 seasons. It may be too late to do what he needs to. This needed to be address several years ago.
Whiteside made a comment in twitter that the blazers know his number. Something like that. Pretty sure we could get him back for dirt cheap. I love Enes but he is so bad defensively.Give me Whiteside all day. He can do everything that Kanter does offensively. But defensively he’s levels above Kanter
Haha. Other teams are making comments to try to lower Simmons' value? Says the guy making comments trying to raise Simmons' value. LOL
Whiteside is a terrible basketball player, but a decent and cheap insurance policy.Whiteside made a comment in twitter that the blazers know his number. Something like that. Pretty sure we could get him back for dirt cheap. I love Enes but he is so bad defensively.
But he doesn't. He's horrible. What he does is help at the rim and swat shots. When he's not doing that he's worthless.I will admit Whiteside has his faults but he does do ONE thing this team needs -- PLAY D --- now he does gamble on D giving up stupid points but as sad as it is that is still better then the D kanter puts out there.
BTW -- Not saying the Blazers should bring him back but if i had to choose between Kanter or Whiteside -- i will take the D at this point
i will boycott if we bring back that useless waste of space again. that dude is the laziest hooper i have ever seen. one of my least favorite blazers in 2 decadesWhiteside made a comment in twitter that the blazers know his number. Something like that. Pretty sure we could get him back for dirt cheap. I love Enes but he is so bad defensively.
HCP....sorry
Kawhi would have to say that he want's to go to Portland, then a sign n trade with CJ.How do we get Kawhi
Gunpoint?How do we get Kawhi
WHAT THE FUCK. Has anyone heard this before?
Ramona Shelburne says in 2011 when Olshey was with the Clippers, he had the Chris Paul trade at the 5 foot line for about a week. Reason was the Hornets at the time kept asking for one more asset (like a future 1st) and Olshey held out. Eventually got the deal done without that extra asset. I do not remember the details at the time, but could Olshey be holding out until someone panics for McCollum?
