meyers been getting loose with the mouth the last couple of years and it finally cost him. Should’ve been the shy nice guy he pretended to be while he was in Portland.
Why would he be on the block?Michael Porter Jr might be on the block. He's young and has that thing called "Potential" and you know, the Blazers like that!

The most likely target will be a wing, and preferably one who can shoot, as teams are more aggressively trapping Lillard to get the ball out of his hands. But wings who can shoot are a commodity, which could push the attention to backup point guard.
Neil is allergic to big men. But Hill and/or Porter would be terrific additions. I also maintain interest in Ariza if league rules allowed his return to Portland
Kanter was waived by NYK and then signed with Portland.Huh? He brought in Nurkic, Kanter, and Whiteside via trade the last handful of seasons.

Still though, it’s a midsession acquisition and proves whoever posted Olshey doesn’t like bigs lied in their post.
"Look... both of these guys actually won the dunk contest; your guy came in second multiple times. You're actually coming out ahead in this deal."I wonder if Olshey will revisit Aaron Gordon. Could Orlando be interested in Simons and Jones, along with Hood as filler? You put Gordon at the four, and it also opens up minutes for Little
Orlando could have the choice between Trent or Simons. I think they would want Trent because they already have Faltz.I wonder if Olshey will revisit Aaron Gordon. Zach Lowe brought up how hes been trying forever to find deals to get Aaron Gordon to Portland on his pod. But nothing seems to be workable.

He views him as a young Blake Griffin.yeeeeeesh....why would Olshey be so motivated to land such an average player? About the only thing that Gordon does above average, for his position, is make assists; but that comes with increased turnovers
yesterday @ the 49 min mark. Says we're a favorite Aaron Gordon team. How long ago?

I really want to keep Jones around for the playoffs. Could we sub Zach for DJ in that idea?I wonder if Olshey will revisit Aaron Gordon. Could Orlando be interested in Simons and Jones, along with Hood as filler? You put Gordon at the four, and it also opens up minutes for Little
was noise yesterday that Cleveland is looking for multiple firsts for Nance.Just Another Trade Idea:

2 2nds going to Cleveland
Keeps us under the tax (I think?!?).
Give Cavs a huge amount of cap space this offseason.
IMO, that's exactly what they should want for him. He should be a high-value target.was noise yesterday that Cleveland is looking for multiple firsts for Nance.

Says Little and Simons have some value to be able to trade in place of our lack of FRPs. Also said we could sniff around Harrison Barnes. They were just shooting the shit, no actual news or rumors.
If you made a "most overrated player in the NBA" March madness bracket, who would be your 1 seeds? On one hand, I think Aaron Gordon is one of the most overrated players in recent memory.
for me, it's more of a value play. for CJ, Gordon would absolutely not be worth it. But if it's for Hood and Simons, et al.... why not?On one hand, I think Aaron Gordon is one of the most overrated players in recent memory and I would be incredibly pissed if we gave up assets to get him, which we'd have to do since he doesn't match Hood's contract.
On the other hand, a lot of people who use the personnel excuse want Gordon as the answer to all our problems. It would be validation to watch the Blazers still struggle when teams trap Dame even though they'd have one of the exact players people say would solve that problem. Seeing how the coaching would still get a pass would be interesting. It would lead to Stotts getting fired.
Ultimately though I'd rather not sacrifice this season just to have that happen so I'm still vehemently against trading for Gordon.
