RIP ..I saw him in LA with P Diddy and the band Cameo once....I was there to see Cameo..but I did see him rap once in Santa Monica...this was the early 80s

Spring of ‘98 when I went back to college I was working at Music Millennium. He came in for a CD signing. Wish I had the picture of me and him. Quiet dude but was cool……

Fast forward to about 10 years ago. Ritz Carlton Hotel, Marina del Rey. Team was pulling out heading to the arena and we all look up and leaned up against a beat up BMW 6 series with a spare tire on it was Coolio rollin a joint! Couldn’t believe my eyes. Players all wanted the bus to stop to get out to see him. It was hilarious.
