When D went down, I knew we had a chance.

Currently, the Blazers lead the Pacers, Magic, and Wizards by one in the loss column.

Game on!!!

What’s D? Dame? He didn’t go down. We just decided to tank. That said, I’m hoping Pacers, Wizards, and Magic win tonight. Then we have a cushion. We can lose to Clippers but then play to win at home against the champs and keep our 5 spot.

Pacers Wiz Magic all play earlier than our last GS game, so we should know if we can win that at tipoff or not even if some of those teams lose tonight.

Would be epic if we start everyone for game 82 when the 5th spot is clinched lol.
 
Considering the lotto, does it really matter? One can hope.

This is not a tank thread. However, it's a thread about a close race between a number of teams.

I've never really seen an NBA season with the parity this season has brought.

Considering the lotto? Maybe you aren't aware that worse records have better odds, or that teams pick in reverse order of record after pick 4.

it takes lots of threads to make a quilt. What have you got against quilts?

(I'll tell you what I've got against quilts: I had to drive thru Sisters Oregon a few years ago. There are no stoplights or stop signs...only 1 traffic circle. There was a quilt show there and it took me 32 fucking minutes to drive the mile thru town. I had road rage but it was really 'traffic-is-stalled-get-the-hell-out-of-my-way' rage. gawddam fucking quilts and the idiots who love them. Normally I wouldn't derail a thread this bad but this thread deserves it)

Not sure how you could think a thread with a title of "Race to 5th worst record", is unrelated to tanking.

It's no worse than the umpteen, trade Dame stupidity threads. Or those who say," I Love Dame,But!" Or trade Dame for a haul so he can win a Title, when if you trade Dame to a team that can actually have a real possibility of winning, the haul you get is made up of end of 1st round draft picks , that can be bought like 2nd rounders for the most part. And don't pan out at all. And offer mediocre high salaried players in return to make the cap move work. Ooooh that's exciting.

The Pacers and Magic can now lose 48 games max. The Blazers can still lose 49

Who cares? He has a right to post anything he wants, and if he hasn’t been on the board for awhile, it would be understandable if he duplicated a previous post. He has done nothing to warrant your ridiculous attack.
 
What is the tie breaker if the Blazers, Pacers and Magic all end up tied?

This isn't going to happen but there are a series of coin flips to determine draft position should none of the teams jump up to one of the top 4 but as far as lotto odds they just get split evenly three ways.
