Well, I have only worn my new pair once since I opened them (around May 25th), so I'm hoping they'll last me till July or so, because I have no money left to buy new boxes, and that was my last pair out of my other box.

I can agree, there are aspects of socialism which should be adopted. I think the majority of people in the US don't like the idea of socialism because it involves paying high taxes.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">
I'm actually not a socialist. More a democratic socialist like Bahir was talking about.</div>

Actually, there is is quite a big difference between democratic socialism and social democracy. The similar name thingy kind of reminds me of a few scenes in Monty Python's "The Life of Brian"... anyone seen that one?

Hahaha I do that all the time. Mine are only supposed to last 14 days.. and I often wear them for over a month. Never bothers me, and everyday feels fresh as long as you remember to clean them thoroughly every once in a while and change the solution every day.

Thing is, I haven't even cleaned the solution since the last time I've worn them (May 25th). I cleaned em after I wore em for the last time, but they've feel laying in "fresh" solution since. Either way, I don't think that matters because the lenses haven't technically gotten dirty since, which is the whole point of adding solution anyway.

I want the contacts you can keep in for a month straight....I hate putting mine in every morning

Word on the street is that the Grizzlies love Joakim Noah. I'd leave town if that happened.

To anyone who knows anything about college ball, how does this look as a text-only top 25 for next season?

I just watched a documentary on NBATV on the 1995 Houston Rockets. Hakeem has some of the greatest footwork I have ever seen. That whole team's run was amazing; very dramatic championship, and a very fitting ending (Olajuwon's unlikely 3).

That "Dream Shake" on Robinson is more impressive to me than Jordan's "switch in the air" manuever. Beating Utah (w/ Malone & Stockton), Phoenix (Charles Barkley, KJ) and the Spurs (with the "MVP"), not to mention the up-and-coming Magic (w/ Shaq & Penny) is quite a difficult task, but the Rockets somehow managed to do it. Now I understand why they're called "Clutch City". Very cool documentary.

I'm not that knowledgeable about incoming players, so my opinion doesn't hold a lot of weight. But isn't Georgetown losing both Green and Hibbert? That's a lot of talent to make up for.

I honestly feel like this year's Bruins will be better than the previous two years. Collison's easily one of the best PG's in the country, I think Shipp has what it takes to be the primary scorer, and Kevin Love brings another dimension that the team hasn't had for a while. We look more well-rounded now. If Mbah a Moute rebounds with a nice season as well, I think they can be legit title contenders.

No, Georgetown is only losing Green, not Hibbert, and they'll have Vernon Macklin, a former McDonald's All-American, to step in and fill that void. Not to mention that they bring in five-star shooting guard Austin Freeman. They'll be solid.

I agree on UCLA, but would you rank them ahead of any of the top four teams?

Oh, I see. That's some solid recruiting.

I wouldn't move UCLA that high up yet, because you never know how the freshman pans out. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if they end up in the top 2 or 3 midway through the season.

Who do you think will be better: Rudy Fernandez or Marco Bellinelli?

I like Belinelli better. I haven't really watched any of them (a few highlights) but based on what I read, Marco is the better shooter, is more atheletic, and isn't as skinny as Rudy. I think Rudy will be a ridiculous liability on the defensive end at only 170. Opposing shooting guards will have a field day backing him down and I will imagine the same can be said about some of your stronger point guards like Baron Davis, Chauncey Billups, and Jason Kidd. Plus, I lose confidence on guys who withdraw their name multiple years in the draft.

Anybody here have Chemistry regents today? I do, and man, I'm pretty much going to fail that crap. I have been studying the past few weeks, but I'm so weak when it comes to that subject. And If I fail it, I fail the class which means I have to take another year of it.

I never took the Chemistry Regents. My school required me to take one science Regents and I took and passed biology.

I was terrible in chemistry and to make matters worse, so was my teacher.

Right on. That's pretty much exactly how I feel at this point, except I'm not that impressed with Belinelli either. He seems like he's just a spot-up shooter, which albeit may be something a team like the Knicks could use in the short-term, is not something that you can make much of a career out of in the NBA.

By the way, does anyone else think that everyone's sleeping on Nick Fazekas. I can understand the criticisms against a guy like Trey Johnson, who put up insane stats but did so at a small school and is undersized for his position, but what about Nick Fazekas? Here's a legitimate 6'11" post player who averaged 20.4 ppg and 11.1 rpg while shooting 43% from downtown, and his team only lost five games all season, yet he's projected as a mid-second round pick. It's odd to say the least. Okay, he's not extremely quick or athletic, but the way he's rated, you'd think he were paralyzed from the hips down.

Hmmmm... I just confirmed my suspicions that what I had the other weekend was infact a panic attack, I dont know if this is a permanent thing now, or just due to the state I was in at the time
happysad.gif
I guess I'll find out, although I never want to go through that ever again, it was horrible.

Also I have a job interview this morning (it's 1.00am here now, interview is at 11.30, lol), hopefully I get the job! It's at one of those Print stores, and they want some one who is experienced in Photoshop, so hopefully I'll do alright in the interview.

You probably just didn't have a high tolerance. That happened to me the first time lighting up after not being able to smoke for two weeks because of my surgery, but not since I've built back up my tolerance.

What do you mean by permanent though? A permanent panic attack?

Voodoo I think you need to add the Cal Bears to your top 25.

Allright, so I'm officially done high school. ****, man I'm getting old

Very underrated. I see mocks projecting him from the late first round to the early-mid 2nd; when he should be at least in the mid 1st. It baffles me..but at the same time whoever gets him is going to have a steal.

Goddamn...it's so hard to find a Wii these days. They sell out really quick..

I thought people were 'too cool' for Nintendo these days..lol

I liked 64 because of Super Smash Bros. Now I have a Xbox, but I mostly play computer.

I don't care how crappy you are...81 points is a damn shame...and damn amazing any way you want to put it.

WTF is a Cholo!?!? This video looks like some high schoolers made it. Lol, but it's funny as hell. I may be 5'10 150 pounds, but if I saw this guy on the street, I would kick him right in the teeth, it's gotta be the worst thing ever written since Lip Gloss. The back drops are fake and everything.

On the other hand..lol, I wonder how much he had to pay those women to smile while a bunch of 300+ men leaned like a Cholo.
