<div class="quote_poster">MrJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I like Belinelli better. I haven't really watched any of them (a few highlights) but based on what I read, Marco is the better shooter, is more atheletic, and isn't as skinny as Rudy. I think Rudy will be a ridiculous liability on the defensive end at only 170. Opposing shooting guards will have a field day backing him down and I will imagine the same can be said about some of your stronger point guards like Baron Davis, Chauncey Billups, and Jason Kidd. Plus, I lose confidence on guys who withdraw their name multiple years in the draft.</div>
Right on. That's pretty much exactly how I feel at this point, except I'm not that impressed with Belinelli either. He seems like he's just a spot-up shooter, which albeit may be something a team like the Knicks could use in the short-term, is not something that you can make much of a career out of in the NBA.
By the way, does anyone else think that everyone's sleeping on Nick Fazekas. I can understand the criticisms against a guy like Trey Johnson, who put up insane stats but did so at a small school and is undersized for his position, but what about Nick Fazekas? Here's a legitimate 6'11" post player who averaged 20.4 ppg and 11.1 rpg while shooting 43% from downtown, and his team only lost five games all season, yet he's projected as a mid-second round pick. It's odd to say the least. Okay, he's not extremely quick or athletic, but the way he's rated, you'd think he were paralyzed from the hips down.
