Re: Random Thought Thread

I like watching The Simple Life its so cool.

Re: Random Thought Thread

My personal favorite thing to watch, is probably Porno movies. I love the plots in them. Like, all the sex is useless, but if you look at it through a movie aspect, they are deep.

If you were a Nets fan, you'd also be on the wall.

Re: Random Thought Thread

Re: Random Thought Thread

Sweet 16 is also a very cool show that I love watching those girls are so spoiled damn rich brats.

Re: Random Thought Thread

co-sign!!!

people laugh at me,when I tell them I watch it though!

Re: Random Thought Thread

Sweet 16 makes me hate humanity, yet I enjoy a good episode of Bridezillas from time to time. I don't know how to account for the double standard

Re: Random Thought Thread

"Hell's Kitchen" is really the only reality show I like to watch.

Wow. Sweet 16? You serious?

Dead Serious.

Re: Random Thought Thread

Sweet 16 is trash.

Re: Random Thought Thread

Some girls that went to my school were on sweet 16. It was that 3 sisters episode. It was in the city I live too.

But I agree, that show is trash.

They're making an NBA one. I think it will be a tad different from the NCAA/NFL ones. I think that its supposed to be done, by like teh 2nd week in the season, or something like that.

Re: Random Thought Thread

sweet 16 is hilarious to watch, since the people act like complete idiots.

Although it also pisses me off. These girls whine when they can get the car they want, and yet the car they do get is actually 2398912 times nicer than mine...(ford taurus 1999, POS if you were wondering)

Nighty night, keep your buttholes tight.

lol it never gets old. But make sure you say "night night" and not "nighty" it adds dramatic effect.

Re: Random Thought Thread

I still have jury duty. They said the case was going to go two weeks, but I have a feeling it's going to go into a third week
sad.gif

The court room next door to ours is handling the Mack case, so the place has turned into something of a zoo. There's a lot of TV vans outside and parking spots are a little harder to find. The OJ case is also "out there" bringing a lot of extra traffic around the court house.

Now they arrested this child molester (it's national news) and MSNBC is showing Chris Jansing reporting from the courthouse (if you want to see where I've been going every day...).

I must say that I'm enjoying the experience of being a juror and seeing a court case in action. The jury has become a close-knit group of people and we're even talking about having reunion parties down the road. The baliff is a real sweatheart of a guy, as are other baliffs we've run into.

Wish I could say more, but that's not allowed until the case is over. When it is over, I'll be happy to talk about the case itself and what we went through on that.

Re: Random Thought Thread

Actually, yes. I told them 20K people know I have jury duty

Re: Random Thought Thread

lol, nice.

Its nice to hear, you're having a good time there. (its a good experience, I was only a backup jury once)

Re: Random Thought Thread

I hope Vince Young plays this week......especially since I paid 100 bucks for my ticket on Sunday....and 30 for the VY jersey....something tells me he's playing, because he despises the Texans.....................

Re: Random Thought Thread

the city of Houston sucks, they just had a give away on a local radio station on the '94 rockets championship team....OUR FIRST TITLE TEAM IN CITY HISTORY...and nobody knew the answer (one guy got close)

I can name everyone from that team

Eric Riley (actually thought he'd turn out to be a good player, but it never happened)

Richard Pertruska (I'm sure I'm not spelling his last name right, but it doesn't really matter cause he did nothing)

Scott Brooks (always loved scotty, now he's coaching in Denver)

Matt Bullard (great shooter, but never got a lot of minutes, because that's all that he could do)

Carl Herrera (amiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigo.................imo our 2nd title run would've been a lot easier had we had amigo....people forget how vital he was in game 6 against the knicks)

Mario Elie (wasn't as important in the 1st title run like he was in the 2nd title run, but still brought tough defense and could hit the open shot)

Earl Cureton (not that important, but he's still one of those guys you remember)

Sam Cassell (EXTREMELY important in first title run....huge Game 7 against Phoenix and huge game 3 against Knicks)

Chris Jent (a poor mans matt bullard...if that's possible.....I think he's still coaching in Orlando)

Kenny "The Jet" Smith (he lost all his jet fuel at that time in his career, but he could still handle the ball and hit the open shot...couldn't play great d though)

Vernon "Mad Max" Maxwell - hakeems scottie pippen during the 1st title run...streaky shooter, but was DANGEROUS when he got hot....always brought a tough hard nosed attitude (that ended up being his downfall) and tough tenacious defense

Robert Horry - I think we all know......didn't really hit any clutch shots in this title run, but still brought pretty good D and he could hit the open shot

"O.T." Otis Thorpe - the thing I'll always remember about O.T. is his ability to literally make the basketball look like a ping pong ball in his hand....brought pretty good defense, rebounding and some offense down low to help out Hakeem.

Hakeem Olajuwon - no need for explanation.

I might be leaving off someone, but I got pretty close

Re: Random Thought Thread

Cassel, Horry, Maxwell, Smith, Thorpe, and Olajuwan are players from that team that everyone should know. That's pathetic.

So all you had to do was name one player? Or how many players?

Re: Random Thought Thread

well u had to name 4 bench players who played in game 7.......

my phone just broke.............time 4 a new one.............

Re: Random Thought Thread

I bought Madden on PS3 yesterday, was only $79, so I thought why not. Havent really given it a good playing yet, seems a bit confusing so far, and the Graphics are actually pretty poor, although I'm not playing on HD, and the game seems to have been made to revolve around HD. The online stuff is mad though, you can get a live stream of ESPN radio or some Sports radio, and it has a real time sports ticker down the bottom, and you cab watch videos / read news off NFL.com through the game. Its sick. Its where I heard about the Chris Chambers trade to San Diego, lol.

Re: Random Thought Thread

How is that? Do you look like an idiot throwing an catching the football?

Re: Random Thought Thread

Really fun. Can be frustrating.

Running is amazing, seriously, running people over with LT is a blast. Defense is a bitch though. As are interceptions, takes a lot of getting used to. I reccomend it though.

Re: Random Thought Thread

Sounds good. I'll go over to my friends house and try it.
