There isn't really a thing in the Toronto area (not that I know of) called community colleges. I know what they are, and we don't have them. Like, I don't want to finish high school, then go in to college and do that shit again. I'll have to, but I don't want to. And for me I need to go to university, and I want to go, but right now, the drive isn't there. No one is here but me and I can only help myself. It's not that I'm sad, it's just that there is so much and the time ticks away every day. Next year I need to make portfolios and I won't get in to Ryerson because I just don't have what they want. I needed 6 published articles, and some other things and I won't have that. I was thinking Sports Management at Brock then transfer over to another school to pursue Journalism. I'm really mixed right now and sooner or later I need to start looking at different programs I need to apply for.

I hate how Canadian universities (UofT) are so committed to the bell curve. My Daoism professor just came out of Stanford, and she was amazed at how much harder and unnecessarily strict universities are with their grading up here.


Shake, the last resort can always be to just pursue a general undergraduate degree in the social sciences/humanities. It won't lead to any sort of job, but they're easy to get into and it will give you 4 years to get a better idea of where you want to go career-wise. Plus, you get all those university level resources and advice. High school guidance councilors are shit.

Yea, my councilors are crap. Like, I want something sports related so I can enjoy what I do. Anyone have ideas about some college/university stuff I could go in to. I don't care how long it'll take, but some ideas.

He looked tired though, and I asked him who won the eating contest. lol (I left for work 30 minutes before the contest started so I only saw the beginning when they were fixing the tables behind them)


Next time I'm asking for a pic and maybe even an autograph. (I couldn't this time, since I'm with a trainer haha)
