Good work there, keep working hard as it is a valuable instrument to master.

<div class="quote_poster">Karma Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I'm contemplating whether or not I should let my hair grow out for an extended period of time. It looks better when I have it at medium length and I can do that whole Growing Up Gotti gino style look, but I've never grown out my hair for more than a little over a month before and I wanna see how it looks grown out.</div>

Do it. I actually enjoyed growing my hair. I always had really short hair, faded and lined up then I trimmed it a bit for my grad pictures in January then grew for 5 weeks. Got a low fade for Semi (even though I was suspended and not allowed to go) in February even though my hair was a bit short, then got another low fade before March break. Thats like 3 full months of me growing my hair. Finally cut it and got a perfect look in April. I got the low-fade, blowout look...pretty common with brown people here, but it suits me best. My barber was gone for like 6 weeks between April and early June, so I couldn't style my hair. It was mad long so I had to go wit the messy hair, scruffy beard look and people actually liked that.

I'm thinking about running a Mohawk wit a fade at the top and the back making a V shape.

Never heard it before. Whats the title of the song, if I can get a handle of the chords and/or sheet music I can probably learn it.

Amazing playing, Iggy. Nice snapping too lol.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">"Otherside" is my favourite RCHP song too. I'm glad someone mentioned it, because I think it'd belong on my playlist. I don't know why, but I really feel the emotion in that song.

You never realize how many homeless people there are in downtown Toronto, until you're rushing for a train you're late for and you accidentally knock over a can full of some dude's change. I felt like a total asshole, so I picked it all up for him and gave him a loonie. Missed my train, though.

How does everyone here deal with homeless people asking for change? I usually keep anything under 25 cents in my pockets to just give away.</div>

Homeless people in Canada? Liar.

Whenever we drive to the hood for bud and we get hassled by a homeless person, we make sure to give him some on us. I'm sure he'll enjoy it ten times more than some change.

It's crazy how much my friends have changed since high school. The friends I had back then were the stereotypical rowdy, suburban preppy kids who went out and got smashed every night. We used to drive down to the A1 or Discount and get homeless people or ********* (WOW, crackheads is edited in our system?) to buy us beer, and some of my roid raging friends beat the **** out of them. We're all probably going to hell for that.

lol, its a rock song that the dude somehow translated to the piano. Check out his other vids. He's done it with quite a few songs.

Sounds like an oxymoron, but you'd be surprised. Toronto actually has quite a lot. My coworkers always complain about them, but I don't really mind. They're cool to talk to you when you're waiting for the bus or something. Always have interesting stories.

Everytime I got to the barber for a low-fade, they always warn against me leaving the top off cause they keep saying it'll look like a mushroom cut. It should be noted that I don't go to any of the younger barbers who actually know anything about recent styles. I should really hit up the European places. Anyway, I rarely leave my hair down so I'm thinking I should just go for a .5 or zero low fade. What number did you get on the fade? And how much do you cut off the top? Usually, my hair's not exactly the way I want it to be when I cut it (1 or .5 on the sides, 2 fade to the top, half an inch at the top), so I have to wait about a week or so before it's how I want it.

Are you talking about those faux hawks with the back spiked? My hair's slightly curly/wavy so I'm not sure I can pull that off properly since it's usually done by people with straight hair, but I wanna try it.

Yeah I actually got the playing style for that song from his, with the snapping and all. That dudes amazing, like a youtube role model for me LOL.

LOL I was sitting on a box drum. Cause earlier I was practicing playing Summer Love by JT, with one hand while drumming with the other. And I was using the piano bench to put the camera on haha.

The best way to master the piano (and no joke) is to keep your fingers thin and very strong by performing certain exercises. Most professional pianists use these techniques. From what I see in a few of these videos from David Sides, he's great, but nowhere even close to being the best I've seen or heard in my lifetime. Better then I am at the piano anyway, but I strongly recommend Michela Manfroi if you want to really see and hear something special.

Well I use to leave the top at first because my hair wasn't long enough to spike it all over. When I finally grew it I trimmed it by half an inch. That's what I do every time now; low .5 fade and trim half an inch off, every 3-4 weeks. I'm pretty tight with my barber (he's in his early 20's) and he knows all the styles so he takes his time does them exactly how you want.

Yeah those faux-hawks. The one I want is kinda different then the normal ones though, it's hard to explain. They're actually called mohawk's from what my barber and other hairdressers told me. Faux-hawk's are jus the ones wit the top done, like what Beckham had. You could still pull it off if your hair is a bit wavy or curly. Use Ice Spiker...that sh*t will mold and shape it nice, solid as well.

I go to First Choice and get my haircut by ladies in thier 30's and 40's. No wonder they **** it up half the time. The one stylist they have that's good (a European lady that actually takes her time) always has a list full of people waiting for her everytime I go there so I just end up getting it cut by the other ladies. I want to hit up a European place though, usually the barbers there are up-to-date with hairstyles. One of the barbers at First Choice didn't even know what a line-up was.

That's basically the faux hawk I would wanna get but my front is a little wavy so it's hard to get the same look from the front.

I use Got2Be (yellow tube) or those hair waxes. I'll give Icespiker a try next time, hopefully it's not really sticky like hairwaxes tend to be. I don't like using it everyday though cause I think it'll eventually **** up your hair pretty badly.

That's Becks right there. His ugly-ass Spice Girl wife turned him into a freak.

I got this black broad who cuts my hair, well..I made the mistake of going to some other broad yesterday...she F'd my hair up, so that's why I shaved it today..I kind of miss my longer hair.

They're promoting the hell out of Beckham here in the states, and it's getting annoying. Nobody cares about soccer, and nobody ever will. Pel? couldn't bring soccer to the states, and he's the greatest of all-time, right? Beckham and Adu aren't saving the US soccer scene anytime soon, especially at these stages of their careers (Beckham being nearly retired and Adu being a kid).

EDIT - Just before someone flames me, I know I just spelled 'soccer' as 'socker.' Honest typo.

Soccer actually has the largest youth movement in this country right now, which is why sales have skyrocketed and why you see so many teen and kid programs. We also have one of the top five U20 International sides in the World. That means a lot because those kids will eventually be leading this country from the current crap generation into a bright future. Also, the turn out for a simple friendly between Real Madrid and Chivas USA in Chicago was overwhelming for the city. 30,000 people greeted the team at the airport and then another 750,000 tried to get tickets even though the match had been sold out for months. Great days ahead for footy in the States, no doubt about it. For now though, MLS is crap and the whole advertising thing for Beckham is the trashiest thing I've seen since the Play Beautiful Nike commercials, Euro NFL, LeBron James and Sidney Crosby.

I wish they'd promote soccer more in North America. Honestly, I find soccer to be much more exciting than baseball (I can't stand WATCHING it...it's so damn boring), and it requires a shitload of skill to play the game.

I remember last year during the World Cup, all of the 20 or so soccer fields near my house were all being played on by kids and adults alike. I went to that same field this year and there was only like one field that was taken with a couple of kids playing.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Beckham and Adu aren't saving the US soccer scene anytime soon</div>

The U.S's main focus is football, baseball and basketball, and there's simply no room for "pansy" sports (in the traditional American view) like soccer there. Even in Canada, it's mostly hockey interest, followed by basketball, curling (lol I think it's mostly the Eastern provinces that help solidify this stereotype), and perhaps lacrosse. Canadian schools aren't even that big on sports, which is what makes Steve Nash's path to greatness that much greater IMO.

We've always had a large contingency of youth playing human foosball. However, they all drop it once they get to middle school or high school and take up real sports, like football and basketball.

Quite the contrary, since 2001 most kids are switching over to soccer, hence the top youth movement here in U20. Helped on a professional report for a foreign magazine on soccer youth a few years back. The US have potential youth comparable to last generation's Italia programs. That's massive.
