Be careful, them soccer fans = crazy.

I've tried following soccer about 4 or 5 times, and it's just too big to follow. I like the game and I love the World Cup, but it's too big.

David Beckham is a good looking man and I'm glad he's in L.A., but the hype in my area isn't that big. Maybe up in Irvine it's more, I'll find out as I'll be up in that area twice next week.

I'd love to go watch him play though, I think he's only considered overrated because of all the media hype he's given because of how marketable he is.

I do want a Beckham jersey though, those things are sweet.

I need to get a haircut this week, I have no idea what style to go with though, any ideas?

I just watched the most disturbing video ever, it was a PETA video about Seal Clubbing. It was very traumatic for me, cause I'm a big Animal lover, I even broke out in a sweat while watching it

England or Scotland, are you serious? Go to Argentina, Italy or Spain. From matches I've been to in the UK, Italy, Spain, France and the US nothing compares to the atmosphere of a La Liga or Serie A/B match. Even the smallest section of fans in Spain or Italy are louder then a stadium full in the UK. That's from experience.

Why? Just curious.

Back in November or so, I saw a video from PETA (narrated by one of the Baldwins I believe) that was incredibly biased, but it did leave an effect on me.

Granted, I didn't change my meat habits because I come from a family that eats meat quite often, but the video was pretty disturbing. I'd like to think that repeatedly smashing a LIVE pig's head on the floor, stepping on his head and shooting it point blank is an isolated incident. I'd also like to think that cutting off the horns of cattle while they are restrained in a cage and given no form of painkillers is also an isolated incident. The video also showed cows being hung upside down and while they were still alive, one of the farmers just makes a huge slit in thier bodies and makes them bleed to death.

The most disturbing one was the chickens thing though, because I tend to eat chickens a lot. From the growth hormones, to the horrible conditions at which they keep them (again, I'm quite sure this isn't ALL meat farms, PETA just wants you to believe that), and the fact that they skin the beaks of chickens off (I believe they do it without painkillers), to the fact that some of the chickens go insane inside of these small cages were 5-10 of them are stored was quite disturbing. If I can find a link, I'll put it up. Actually, I might just put it on to rapidshare or something. Let me check if I still have the video.

yeah I forgot that they played HS ball together.

Since when did MTV have "Friday" the animated series...I watched a good 2 minutes of that crap last night and then turned the t.v. to Lifetime.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm about ready for football season.....with a guy here now who can work some Sundays for me, I'm thinking about getting NFL Sunday Ticket and bumming out occasionally on "the day of rest"

I remember hating going to church and missing football and the NBA on NBC when I was younger......I actually remember our then Pastor cutting Vacation Bible School (which was for the kids) short one time so we could get home and watch the Rockets play the Knicks in the Finals....that was great.....I understand going to church to congregate with other Christians and to hear a message, but I don't think I could ever see myself going to Church over a big game....I mean it just doesn't make any kind of sense....you can hear your pastor talk about Jesus anytime, but The Finals, Superbowl, World Series, etc. only happen once a year......it's not putting sports before God....................okay............. it is, but it's only every once in a while.....God likes for us to have fun to!!!!

I hate to keep going on and on about this, but I remember when our youth minister scheduled a "special" youth meeting on Super Bowl sunday once....I was sooooooooooooooo pissed off, because not only did I miss the Super Bowl, but I also missed The Rock fighting Mankind in an "I Quit" Match at halftime........Special Sporting Events > Church.............sorry.

stuff like that really makes you question why so many people are getting angry at Mike Vick, lol....seriously the only reason why we (and I mean the American people) think what he did was so bad is because Dogs are looked at as "pets" in our culture....had he been doing dog fighting in China no one would care as long as they got first dibs on the remains.......................and I'm not even saying that too be funny.

People are getting angry because he had several dogs killed or severely injured. The fighting is brutal and just inhumane I guess. America as a society is trying to perfect the Innocent Image in which we do everything right. Dog fighting along with cock fighting are disrupting that image. The Chinese do a lot of bad things including installing some death camps all around their country. We shouldnt compare us to them.

I wasn't really trying to compare I was just pointing out all the cruel things we do to animals here....I mean there's a lot of people who hunt "for sport"....is that really any worst than what Vick did???....and I don't even agree with what Vick was doing.

^ Well, I don't really support hunting as a sport, but there's a big difference between killing and torturing.

I agree that the public shouldn't just concentrate all their anger at this one isolated incident, because this sort of animal cruelty can be found all over the place. That doesn't make what Vick did any less wrong, though. It's absolutely disgusting and horrifying what he did to those dogs and I hope he doesn't get let off easy.

Dog's are man's best friend. Plus you don't gamble when you hunt which is another negative aspect of Dog fighting. I mean you can't compare Fishing to Dog Fighting.

I have nothing against hunting when it is in season. I think some animals shouldn't be hunted though. Also, I still can't believe all that BS about duck liver. What a bunch of idiots.

I bet you the Falcons are wishing they hadn't traded Matt Schaub now....God this incredibly fine lady just came in the office.......I need to ask my co-worker wut's up with her.

I've made a decision that my next girl friend will have to one that totally blows my mind away, because it's much too fun not having one....I'm the type of guy that just likes getting attention from females, I enjoy going out and just flirting, because it feels good knowing you can holler at just about anyone.....I don't know if I mentioned this before in here, but it seems like whenever I have a girl is when the FINEST girls approach me and flirt with me.....that **** is so frustrating.

Ahh man this is just too damn funny....I should've shut my mouth about church earlier, because I just got this email forwarded to me from a former co-worker

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If you're spiritually alive, you're going to
love this! If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it.
If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope! Why Go To
Church?

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper
and complained that it made no sense to go to church every
Sunday. I've gone for 30 years now,' he wrote, 'and in that time I
have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I
can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time
and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.' This
started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column,
much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until
someone wrote this clincher: 'I've been married for 30 years now.
In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the
life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of
those meals. But I do know this.. They all nourished me and gave me
the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me
these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had
not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead
today!' When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something!
Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the
impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual
nourishment! All right, now that you're done reading, send it on!
Everyone should read this! 'When Satan is knocking at your door,
simply say, 'Jesus, could you get that for me?'

I still say Sports > Church.

Man, I love Jack Nicholson's tirade at the end of "A Few Good Men."

A Few Good Men is one movie that was made past 1987 that my dad will sit down, watch, and enjoy....

DMX makes the best edited music because of his barking sound effects...

I got Sunday NFL Ticket in 2003 and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made (especially since the team I like wins all the time and is extremely flashy). What are you waiting for?

I love the NFC East.

"Man on Fire" is what "The Punisher" should've been.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I love the NFC East</div>

The Giants, Cowboys, and Eagles will be duking it out at the end of the season as usual....does anyone remember those classic Giant vs. Cowboy matchups from the early 90's....I believe Emmitt dislocated his shoulder in one of those games, but kept playing on it anyways and had a great day on the ground..and the cowboys won......the Cowboys vs. the 49ers used to be the **** also...

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"Man on Fire" is what "The Punisher" should've been.</div>

Man on Fire was great...I never saw the Punisher because it looked bad from the previews and all the critics gave it crappy reviews.

I'm surprised Carolina didn't at least get a MNF game.

Three primetime Seahawks games holla. Nothing better than going to the Wing Dome and watching the game with all the drunks while eating wings.
