No ones ever going to call you unless they're desperate for employees (obviously no one is these days). They're not going to go through all their applications and call each person to see if they're a good fit. You have to make the effort and follow up on it, call them up and tell them you applied and you want an interview.

I did that too many times and they say the same old: "we're review all of our applications, we'll get back to you shortly".

This game is one of the reasons why I became an NBA fan. It's probably my favorite game of all-time.

To Voodoo Child^ I know what you mean, during the reps you feel as if you are about to die. But after the workout's over and your home siting down watching tv, it feels so good. I always feel like I could go for another workout, right after i finish. Its a weird feeling.

i wish i was two months older or lived in a diffrent state. I'm two months away from my licence (on the dot tomorro) and its killing me. I hate having to wait for people to come pick me up and i hate it when I'm in a car with someone who can't drive and its like wow i have to wait until im 17 but they give their licences to anyone. AND I HATE THAT I CAN'T GO TO FAR PLACES. Theres a concert in the bronx on saturday and i want to go but i can't cause i know only one of my friends would want to go and he doesn't have his licence and my mom won't take me. i'm so pissed

That's why I try to work out every single day. Usually stretches with 100 modified crunches in the morning followed by a long bike ride or power walk and weight lifting. At night another 100 crunches with more stretches to prevent overnight calf cramps or charlie horses.

I do this machine at the gym, its called the Abdominal Crusher, it does feel as if your abs are crushed after, it hurts like hell.

Yeah working out is the best, I've been slacking a bit lately, only going twice a week instead of 3 times. I love coming home and just having that feeling of accomplishment though.

lol, it wasn't my idea. I just ran into it at another forum.

Basically, you draft posters (I'm guessing by how good they post). For example:

With the 10th pick in the JBB draft, JBB selects... M Two One from France.

Prospect: M Two One
Age: 22 (I don't really know)
From: Chicago, Illinois
Position: Bulls Mod

Strengths: Very interesting poster who has traveled the world... has been around the site awhile... is mature... solid debating skills... excellent writer

Weaknesses: His biggest weaknesses is undoubtedly the fact he is a Bulls fan... likes Tyrus Thomas over Eddy Curry

Why don't you just do sit-ups? Does the machine work your stomach muscles any differently?

Most of my exercise at the moment is aerobic. I used to be on the weighlifting and football teams in high school, so I've already got a lot of muscle mass. I also broke my nose about a month ago, so it's not recommended I get under weights yet. Right now I'm just working on improving my overall speed and quickness, especially my lateral quickness. I was able to keep up defensively with kids from the county and private school leagues in high school, but everytime we played the teams from the hood, where kids had quicker first steps, I would get burned time and time again on defense. That's always been my biggest weakness, so that's my biggest focus point at the moment.

I agree completely with you guys though. Working out just makes you feel better. I've gotten in ruts where I don't have practice for a week, and I'll just hang out all week watching tv, smoking, and playing guitar, and during those stretches, I not only get out of shape, but I start to feel a lot more lethargic and tired. Working out just revitalizes you.
