Thanks for the ideas shape. There's a cafeteria on campus and free refills so I think I'm about to get a couple of thermoses filled with all types of soda/juice. One of my friends said instead of buying toilet paper they just took napkins from the cafeteria, lol.
I'll definitely try the used books thing too. $500 for 1 semester is ridiculous. People are buying books and stuff before they take the actual class and from what I hear some teachers suggest picking up the book and never use it. So you basically buy it for nothing.
