Thanks for the ideas shape. There's a cafeteria on campus and free refills so I think I'm about to get a couple of thermoses filled with all types of soda/juice. One of my friends said instead of buying toilet paper they just took napkins from the cafeteria, lol.

I'll definitely try the used books thing too. $500 for 1 semester is ridiculous. People are buying books and stuff before they take the actual class and from what I hear some teachers suggest picking up the book and never use it. So you basically buy it for nothing.

I think we need a Sandwiches Thread, where we can Debate, share Ideas and talk about our love of Sandwiches:)

Now that is nasty, don't go cheap with the toilet paper quality.

When you get some free time go to the admin building and get a copy of the different types of grants available for your school. There's a lot of free money available that a lot of people don't take advantage of in college. There's some random ass grants out there, and you don't have to pay back grants.

I'm so excited it looks like I might be selected to be a research assistant this fall semester. I know it will make my schedule busy as hell, but I need the experience for what I plan to get my masters in...........

I eat a sandwich everyday for lunch using Boar's Head meats for the last five years. I've lost more then 100 lbs in the process. Gaining weight is more detailed then people would like to believe. Diet sodas are still the funniest thing I've ever seen. People still think it helps them keep weight down.

Hey, that's a good idea. I'll go post that chicken recipe and others I've been going on about for some time now. I'm sure Mamba would be thanking me for weeks after tasting it. lol

Well I got the job.. pretty easily actually. She said she's going to put me in the meat section. So when I heard that, my initial thought was a room full of skinned cows hanging from the ceiling and guys in bloody aprons.

She said if the meat section isn't my thing then I could request a different section, but I'm not going to pu**y out just yet. I'll try it out and if it's really that bad then I guess I'll switch to something else.

Damn man. My school laptop was f*ked up so I had to give it to the laptop people to get it fixed. Well today was by far the most exciting day of school yet. Well, most of my close friends and this nice chick have the same class as me but in a different period. So I was trying to switch it to the other period but my counselor said she wouldn't be able to do that. And that was before I went to my class which I was trying to get switched out of. So I walk in the class and guess what? That chick had her class switched to my period!! I was like Oh ****, thank goodness my counselor said no. Well now I learned that with everyone thing gay there is always something good.
 
^And I can guess for a fact, you won't say one thing to her all semester. Maybe, something like, "can I borrow your pen?".

Haha nah, I will say something. Like in the summer and everything, I talked to her on Myspace so she kind of knows me but man the gayest thing of all is that she sits all the way in the front while I sit in the back. Time to pull out my Legacy excuse "Miss, I cant see from all the way back here"

Man I f*cking hate it when people have mood swings. Yesterday I was talking to one of my "friends" on the phone. One second he would kiss my ass, the next he would talk ****. The sad thing is that this is a guy with mood swings and not a girl. Man **** people like that.

I was watching My Cousin Vinny again today, that's one of my favourite movies ever. I found Marisa Tomei to be pretty sexy in that movie, don't know why. Some of the fashion in the movie is horrendous, but you can say that about almost any early 90's fashion. Joe Pesci gives a great performance.

Anyways, got my haircut today after growing it out for a month and a half or so, which is actually my longest time in like 4 years; only thing is the lady I usually get to cut it wasn't there (two straight times that's happened now) so I was like '**** it' again and got it cut with someone else. Well, they ended up cutting my hair too short, but the thing is I look good with short hair put down down to the front. The hair's way too short to spike but I can do a little faux hawk with it or put it down so it's good to go for now. I gotta say though, never am I ever getting my haircut by anyone else from that place other than my original barber. Everytime I ask them for a LOW fade, they seem to mess it up. It's not a hard concept.

I watched My Cousin vinny for the first time like a week ago and it was great. And i agree with Marisa Tomei. She did look really cute in that movie.

The Mets are just playing like crap and they're not getting any breaks. Yesterday with that foul grounder and today with the interference call. I hope they can come out tomorrow and salvage the embarrassment of a sweep in a tight division race.

Also good news to all the keystylers out there. After talking to Hunter he and Chutney apparently came up with something and I guess Chutney's going to be running another Post Your Lines thread when he comes back from out of town.
 
I got back from NYC this afternoon. What an awesome trip. I always love going to New York, because its like my home away from home. But this one was special, even though we only went for like 5 days.

On Saturday I got to go the Giants-Jets preseason game. I know its only the preseason, but it was a nice rivalry game and its always cool seeing NFL football live (preseason NFL > regular season CFL). Eli Manning had an excellent game and I came away thinking two things: 1) Chad Pennington is an overrated QB and 2) Brandon Jacobs may very well be paralyzed by the end of the season. The guy absorbs so many hits, just because he doesn't get low on the ground and with the Giants' O-line looking crappy, he's going to be punished all season if he doesn't change his technique.

The best part of my trip was on Sunday morning though. My cousin gave birth to a healthy baby boy. We all knew she was far along with her pregnancy, but it happened two weeks ahead of schedule and I felt so lucky that we were there with the rest of the family. It's amazing how small and fragile newborn babies are.

Anyways its good to be back. I have a week and half before school starts and I plan to take advantage of it.


btw, I was just skimming through the previous pages of this thread and I totally agree with FIBA > NBA basketball sentiment. The talent may not always be on par, but the style of basketball is much more enjoyable to watch.

Anybody watching the Brazil vs. Argentina game right now? I didn't get too watch much this weekend (mostly watched Mets baseball), but it looks like the best matchup of the tournament so far.

Yea, Hunter and I were talking about that before I kind of left out of the blue. I plan on sending a PM to a bunch of you keystylers to just get your opinion on how we should make the thread. The one thing we have to make clear is that battling-type lines (personal attacks, unnecessary profanity, etc.) won't be tolerated.
 
Dang this school schedule is throwing me off.

I get home at 3 and take a "nap" for like 5 hours. Then wake up and do nothing .. eat and just sit there being all lazy for couple of more hours. Then watch the Team USA game for 2 more hours and before you know it, its 12.

How do you break this habit?
