24 is bringing back Tony Almeida in the 7th season. I'm kind of excited about this. I've read that an old character would be back in Jack's life, and I didn't even think of Tony. For those of you who thought he was dead...remember he didn't get a silent clock. Whenever a notable character on 24 dies, they use a silent clock (David Palmer, Teri Bauer)...if you recall, they didn't do that in season 5 with Tony.</p>

I've got a feeling that Tony is going to be out on a hunt for Jack, because of the death of his wife Michelle. A Jack/Tony faceoff is really intriguing sounding! </p>

Well I remember hearing about Tony being possibly alive, but then someone disclosed that this rumor was completely false, but things do change over time. Where did you read this from? You got me interested. Tony was always my second fav character, and I was a bit stunned when they "killed" him off. Other than Bauer, and Chloe, none of the main characters seem to stay alive for very long, but they did a complete drive-by in season 5.</p>

Isn't Jack also leaving LA? </p>

It was an official fox press release, go check realgm.com's media boards, I'm too lazy to post it :-).</p>

Yeah, I believe season 7 will be held in Washington, D.C. and will take place months after the finale of season 6. There will be no more CTU, but some vital members will still be active (Chloe, Bill, Morris).</p>

i have strong feelings for this girl right now, she's a year younger than me, goes to the same community college as me, and i've been best friends with her for about a year and a half. </p>

i figure i might already be too deep in the "friend zone", but i keep hearing my (male)best friend talk about how he was in love with his old (female) best friend, but never had the balls to tell her, and now she tells him she was in love with him too.</p>

i'm wondering whether or not i should seriously go for it and tell her i've liked her ever since i met her, but she's a different girl...she's a tough girl to read. who knows how she feels about me. i've told her i like her a few times when i was drunk, which is probably the worst way to go about it, but she says she doesn't believe it.</p>

Most girls aren't that easy to read really. But just be straight up, you know each other well enough to be able to be able to tell each other things like that, so just go for it. Cause she might feel the same. I know that sounds weird comin from me after my post lol but it's the truth. </p>

hm....maybe i'll try that. i'm just nervous it'll screw up our friendship, because she's such a great girl and i love talking to her whenever i get the chance. </p>

Man, I cannot stop listenin to Graduation. Usually, I can't stand his voice, but Homecoming, Champion, Flashin Lights, Good Life,I Wonder, Everything I Am, Can't Tell Me, Stronger, and The Glory are all stuck in my head.</p>

Barry Bonds is allright, not really feelin it as much as the others, probably because of the lack of production. </p>

I miss JBB. I miss the "homey" feeling it had, Sportstwo just doesn't provide that feeling for me. I like all the high tech stuff, but JBB seemed more like an actual community to me. Good times...

I agree. It'll get better though bro. Pretty soon we'll know everyone and it'll be the same but the family will be even bigger.

I feel the same way right now. I'm homesick. I loved the layout it was so clean, I loved how we could just type out the smilies, and I liked how it had that certain "feel".</p>

Hopefully Swish is right with getting used to it. </p>

JBB was one of a kind, it'll never be duplicated. This site is too big to have that family feeling JBB had.

Eh, I don't know, I hope you're right. A lot ofthe JBB members haven't really been as active lately, so it justfeels kind of awkward posting here.I think Smitty said it best a while ago, this forum doesn't really have "it," it's just there. I thought I'd get used to this site in a week or so, but I guess it's gonna take much longer than I had expected

The it factor will come, once you get used to the community. Like this site isn't what I have been used to, and the Bulls forum in particular isn't booming with activity like I'm used to, but still, the site has that "it" factor for me, because I've been posting with some of these guys for 4+ years, so that "community" feeling is there, while its just a small part of the community, I'm sure I'll get to know more and more of the guys that came from JBB, and enjoy posting with them as well.

Yea, JBB was one of a kind. That is why I started there. That home feeling was one of a kind, it can never be duplicated. I don't know why we can't just take the layout from JBB and use it in the basketball section...I still will miss it. But, I mean, I'm slowly just moving on by getting involved and trying to make the site better. I wish I could of helped JustBBall when it it was still up, but it is a new era. A better era.</p>

I'm not really against the site, I think it's a cool site and everything. It has a lot of cool features that I wished we could have incorporated onto JBB, but like Mamba said, it's just too huge to have that type of family feel we had on JBB, when all the members knew each other, and interacted with each other. I just miss that feeling, and all those Umair jokes we used to make (hell, I even miss all those Kool-Aid jokes). I wouldn't have much of a problem if the members on JBB continued to remain active here, but like I said, I've noticed a lot of members activity dropped ever since the merge, so it's really hard to get used to. But who knows, maybe things will pick up during the season...

Smitty hasn't been on much, same with Pakman. My friend, The Legend said that he won't be that active either anymore cause he loved that old JBB layout and says this place is too confusing.

I was under the impression that JBB was going to look the same, remain the same, just be swallowed up to this board and when u clicked the NBA link here, you'd be directed to JBB.com. I'm less than thrilled with the merge so far, it's no where near JBB quality posting, discussions, or family feel. This basically feels like a community college...we're just here.

That is what I thought to. I guess it's not like that. I mean, we can complain all we want, but we just have to work toegther and make the site great. I want to help, and I think you should to.</p>

I really doubt that. That means going back to VB3 and we moved here because it had more things and it was a step forward.
