Pretty varied. Some are annoyed at him for just telling everyone now, when he's been with her for 5 years. Some are horrified of the racial mixing (relatively few, but they're out there). Some are just relieved his finally getting married (he's like 34, which is a long time for a South Asian to be unmarried).

I think its awesome though. We get two weddings and he gets to be the trendsetter instead of me (potentially).
I have a lot of Indian friends and they said their parents will disown them if they ever found out they married someone who wasn't Indian. They also said the same thing if they found out that they ate pork.

I was never too fond of cultures like that. Some Hispanics cultures are the same way. I don't understand how someone can consider him/herself a genuine advocate of equality when they will consider disowning their kids if they married outside their race. It's just contradictory.

It's fucking backwards, I agree. Luckily my family's not that friggin' retarded. They obvious want to remain within the culture so they can continue to relate to future generations, but they're reasonable people (at least my parents are). You can talk to them.

What moves should I learn over the summer?

Last thing I added to my game was the Ben Gordon curl into fall away jumper move.

I already got this one on my list:

Well, I got an Ipod Touch for my birthday, which isn't to bad. I wanted a 360, but maybe I'll buy it myself. It's cool I have wireless internet in my house, so I have full internet anywhere in it. So I don't have to take my laptop with me.

Top 10 Recruits, I think both will be doing likewise, hopeful he comes here.

Cole Aldrich is a beast. 13 points, 20 rebounds, 10 blocks.

Why couldn't the Bulls end up with a #2 pick from the Knicks this year and not in 2006. Cole Aldrich would be so beautiful on the Bulls.

If Cole were to stay, man we would be good next year.

The funny thing is that Bulls fans are talking about how they wouldn't trade Noah or Thomas to move up to get Thabeet/Aldrich. (Who could both go #1 over Griffin imo, and would definitely be top 5 picks).

I don't see Aldrich staying in school. When you're a top 5 pick, you have to go to the NBA imo. I think Kansas will get to the final four this year, get knocked out by Thabeet and UConn, and their big tournament runs will put those two in the mix for the top pick with Griffin.

Some nice big men this year. Thabeet reminds me a lot of Mutumbo. Aldrich kind of reminds me of Tim Duncan on offense and Ben Wallace defensively.

Still not a certainty they pan out, but these are definitely some of the most talented college big men I've seen in awhile.
