This game will be a better parameter of where we are as a team. Blues are very good

Vesey is doing well but you can see he has a little of the 'I'm really playing in the nhl' yips.

Down 2-1 after 1. Both girardi and holden brutal in that period. Dylan needs to be out there game 3. way too much traffic in front oh hank with no one clearing crease. Offense was dominating early till girardi took momentum killing tripping penalty and been pretty much all blues since then.

I'm starting to come around to the idea of playing McIlrath over Girardi, 6m in the luxury box or not.

They need to stop taking penalties against this team but it's good to see them answer quickly. Another point for Kreider and a goal for Zibanejad.

down 3-2 after 2 and I think we were the better team so far. Girardeau missed most of period on bench. Not sure if hurt or if AV finally sees how bad he is. Holden is an absolute dumpster fire tonight. Staal has been pretty good tonight. Just missed a bunch of good opportunities and should have more than 2 goals.

Still a little too much traffic and timidness around our own net. Gotta get some rebounds around their backup.

Cannot stop taking penalties. Opposition skates right into net area untouched.
AV continues to ignore this nonsense in front of our net.

The shots are 24-7 the last two periods but they can't find a goal. Paging Rick Nash.

I did not think scoring would be a problem. MIA ..........Nash, Stepan & Hayes

Well just like I didn't go crazy over a game one win I won't go crazy over a game two loss. It was unfortunate because this should've been a road win. They out shot them 27-7 in the final two periods and 35-18 for the game.

Did not see the game. Looks Girardi is banged up already. Just retire already Dan. Is this management going to wait until his legs fall off or something.

They pretty much dominated most of the game. You lose some of those. They made 3 great shots on few opportunities.

I know we can analyze the goals and he did have a nice glove save in the process but three goals on eighteen shots is not a good stat line for Lundqvist. They should've won the game if not for some bad luck with the post but with an $8.5 million dollar cap hit in goal Hank needs come up big much more often than not. Like I said one game and they should've won so no reason to go crazy.

I didn't see him having much of a chance on those goals. Tarasenko lights everybody up. The 3rd goal just snuck in. Miller has to get his shot thru on the first goal. Miller has his head up his ass at the moment.

Just bad luck. The Rangers literally had every shot on goal for the last 30 minutes.

Cant go crazy about game 2 but when you outshoot other team by almost half of the shots you should at least get a point in this game.

Tough loss against a good team. Girardi hurt his hip, another reason why trading McIlrath is foolish. It's highly unlikely Dan stays healthy and if he's hurt he needs to be scratched. Hutton made some great saves. Zbad's backhander was sick and he was 68% faceoff wins, great pickup.
