Actually, we have seen it the past three years. Nash has been invisible every year. We have always struggled to score a lot of goals. And we have always struggled against teams that push the pace of play and play a physical forechecking system. I don't know what you're talking about here Chuck.
 
Tampa has taken control of this series since that gift goal 5 on 3. Thanks MSL and Boyle.

Chuck this team is playing like trash. Pom pom waving isn't going to change that. The stone cold fact is that at this point they will need five goals to win this game.
 
Rangers have clearly been taken off their game by the physical play of the Lightning. Rangers fall behind, have to take chances and in turn give up more chances the other way. Still a lot of game left to be played tonight. Frantic 2nd period. Will be interesting to see how TB plays with the lead to start the 3rd.
 
TB is a fast team and will score a lot of goals. We will not beat them 2-1. We cannot afford missing the net all alone like Staal did, and then he gets trapped in deep.

We need Nash to score. We need to convert more of our chances.

TB has pretty much controlled most of this game, but it is 4-3 and we can still win it. Need to try and tighten in our own zone and finish our chances. And please Nash do SOMETHING.
 
Nash has to pull a Messier and start taking over. TB is not all that physical.

Nash is about as shot as St. Louis is. One guy is just old and finished and the other is just heartless.
 
Not the point Mess. Not about pom poms or not. Clearly we aren't playing well and can lose this game/series, but all you "fans" jumping is a comical joke.

D sucks, Hanks sucks, bench Hank, AV sucks, we won't score again, we lost this series. On and on. It is comical.

It's 4-3 but feels like 6-2 because Tampa keeps out playing and out hustling us. I'm so sick and tired of watching our guys WAIT for the puck to get to the along the boards instead of going and getting it, and meanwhile the TB guys go after every loose puck like it's game 7!! We're not matching their intensity and that's all it boils down to. TB is playing with a chip on their shoulder and we're playing scared. That's these last two games in a nutshell.

Sorry but they have allowed 24 goals in not yet six games against this team this season. It's not comedy it's reality.
 
Have some f'ing faith. MSL is 40 and running on fumes. The Nash thing is a joke, we all know that, but to me if we want to have any shot to win this series Nash must do something. Would I bet money on him doing it...nope...but we need him to score or else we will be very hard pressed to win this series.
 
Fair enough. So all leave the board and go watch the Mets or Yanks and the rest of us will watch the Rangers game. Maybe they lose 8-4 and maybe they don't. But I am not asking to bench Hank and the whole team, and giving up down 1 goal entering the 3rd period in a tie series.

If Hank lets up another they gotta pull him. We played much better fundamentals in front of Talbot because we knew Hank wasn't there to bail us out. It seems like they just expect Hank to bail them out, which he isn't doing this series (and it's not his fault), and are playing a much looser game and losing sight of their fundamentals, ie not leaving guys wide open in front of the net, covering the pinching in dman, etc.
 
Horrific period. At least the Fast goal got them to 1. Someone needs to get in Nash's face and challenge him to fucking compete.

I Havnt seen the Rangers play defense like this in years. TB is fast and loaded up front but this defense is horrible.

Those 2 terrible power plays changed the game

And yes this board is a total joke. Series tied 1-1 and a 1 goal game and people bailing on this team

Exactly my point 100%. Our D hasn't been exposed like this in years. And people giving up is ridiculous and sad...LOL.
 
And just to be clear Chuck, I'm saying to pull Hank in hopes of our guys finding their fundamentals knowing that Talbot is back there and not Hank so they can't screw up.
 
Yes, you have seen them play like this before. Except for game one see the other games against Tampa this season.
 
I dont see them scoring another goal in this game unless Nash decides to show up. He has no legs. The guy looks spend. AV probably has overused him with all these defensive responsibilities.
 
They get exposed more than you want to admit Chuck, Lundqvist bails them out quite a bit.

The lack of fundamental hockey by us is ridiculous tonight. Defensively we're playing scared. We need someone to lay out Johnson and/or Stamkos. And I don't care if it's clean or dirty. They've gotten away with their share of dirty hits (some called, some not) so it's time to retaliate. I get that it puts us on the PK, but at some point we need to show TB that there are consequences for their actions, and since our PP isn't doing it, we need to play old school hockey and get them back on the ice with some hits. It's the way hockey used to be, and if we keep sucking on the PP, we gotta do it. I know what you're gonna say Chuck, but at some point our guys need to man up and show that they won't be pushed around without repercussions.
 
They weren't going to score another goal...until Fast scored...LOL. They won't score another goal...starting now...LOL.

Playoffs Mess, I don't give two shits about some regular season games months ago...playoffs.
