It was 5-5, next one won... They didn't get it but it's a very bad goal for him to give up.... MSL and Nash should just volunteer to be scratches
 
Anyone want to ask mcd and Girard why they were backing up on that last goal when it was 1 on 2?
 
I'm just trying to think of someway to get this team to play better defensive fundamentals. AV obviously has no gameplan to slow them down so we here might as well have some fun and see if we can be as ridiculous as him with playing MSL on the PP and top lines. lol I obviously think Hank gives us the best chance to win, but right now we suck in front of him and he has struggled for Hank. Several of the goals he's given up were "unHanklike"
 
Do yourself a favor and don't even mention the D on the winning goal mel. That is 100% on Hank. We need to accept it and focus on game 4.
 
time to hit the bed and hope for a better game on Friday.
 
Al, I am on your side here, but you do need to stop now. D backing up on the last goal...come on bro that is a joke and you know it. That was a terrible goal by Hank, we all know it and HE knows it trust me.

He will play better in game 4 and we go from there.
 
Al it's hard to defend that goal... He NEEDS to save that and he needs to be better, so does the D... Hank fuckin sucked tonihjt
 
Yeah win the next game, my ass. How the fuck are they going to stop their offense? The trend of giving up a lot of goals to this team continues. Hopefully zucc comes back and gives them a lift.

Yea. There's other goals where the defense dropped the ball and screwed him over, but he basically got beat by a wrist shot from the blue line. That's not a goal Hank typically lets in.
 
The OT goal was poor by HL but against Tampa it's always a problem of letting them find open spots and break the defense down.
 
Hank might show up Friday but the offense probably won't ... Always something with this team... If you told me they would score 5 goals I would think they would have won... Fucking pissed more than that loser Ward scoring with 1 second left

Look not once did I say he isnt at fault... At the same time... RANGERS have played like shit too many defensive lapses and yet it's only hank who is at fault right? We even had one genius idea to start Talbot. The last goal was weak ass hit that hank has to stop.

With that said, they don't advance to this series without him.

Need to play smarter ESPECIALLY UP 2 to start the game.
 
chuck, do you feel good about Friday's game? Please tell me how they plan on stopping Tampa's offense?

chuck, obvious bad goal by hank but just stating what I see other teams doing in standing up the one forward coming in to take away even a poor shot thats all. Regardless, hank has to stop that one and he knows it.
 
What sucks the most is at 2-0 we all felt awesome. Then at 4-2 we were like "shit shit shit." 4-4 "it's a game again!" 5-4 "shit shit shit" 5-5 "alright!! We got this in ot!!" And then Hank screwed the pooch and a mass suicide happened on this board lol. It's only a game at the end of the day. Yea, it's nice to win them, but at the end of the day, win or lose, we wake up the next day and life resumes as it normally would. Just let everyone vent their frustrations on here, get it out, and then we move on to game 4 b
 
Can't defend the last goal it's a complete joke BUT the D was awful all game.

These mistakes are fixable. At least they scored some goals tonight I guess.

They must fix the defensive lapses or they have no shot. I am more concerned about the defense and getting nothing from top players then Hank playing like this again

Hank first Ranger goalie since '58 to give up back to back 6 goal gms playoffs. Ouch
 
The D hasn't play well either, but tonight the main issue was Hank. He wasn't good tonight. It is rare we can say that, like 1% of the time?, but that's the fact tonight. He was the main issue in this one Al.

As for Friday night, I expect Hank to play much better. I expect our team to show up and play well. Will that be enough to win...don't know as TB is a very good team in their building...but I expect Hank and the team to play well and let the chips fall where they may from there.

Good news going forward is that we scored more than 2 goals!!!! WOOO!! Bad news is that we let up 6 lol. Gotta find a balance in there somewhere
 
And I also agree Dis. I am more concerned about the D than Hank overall, but tonight Hank was the main issue IMO. I don't expect that to be the case again in game 4.
 
It doesn't matter how they play Friday becauSe G4 is a must win... Can't play and lose 2-1 and pat themselves on the back.
