Hank in the nets. Fast back in and dylan back in the press box. brutal 3 game in 4 day stretch against pens, caps and islanders. Wonder if dyld gets a game or boyle goes all 3. Boyle should be alright today with pens but no dylan against caps and isles will mean open season on our stars again.

This obsession with "Dylan" is out of control and borderline creepy at this point. The only logical explanation is that you two are related. Not quite sure what your point is Prod. My point is having a lesser player like boyle on D when better player is available will cost us games or don't you some how see that? I think the kid is a good player and getting the shaft from AV. I also talk about other players most notably Kreids as their my 2 favorite players. Whats borderline creepy to me is you tracking my posts. You need to get a life.

My point is right there in the post. We have way more important players than "Dylan" but todays game thread, for a big game against a division opponent, is viewed 100% through the lens of what is happening with "Dylan" tonight. If "Dylan" is playing, who "Dylan" is playing with, if "Dylan" is being treated fairly.
And don't worry, I have a great life. I actually havent been on here in almost a month because of it. It took all of 30 seconds to quote the 4 times you mentioned Dylan in 5 sentences. But thanks for reminding me why I stayed away as there is no longer objective hockey talk on here.

Since this place is just swarming with posters I think that's certainly the best attitude to have.
Mess, I'm not the one who came on and posted about someone being borderline creepy because they post a lot about their favorite player(s). I think I've been a good poster here and do talk about other players and things besides them especially the prospects in our system. He doesn't know me and should keep those kind of comments to himself. Just resented the inference.

I always on the side of people can post whatever they want. Personally, I've been vocal about this site for the last month or so because there has been a definite decline. This has resulted in far less activity and people leaving the board. The constant negativity that pervades this board is not only beyond laughable but it's also extremely off putting. You would think this team was the New York Knicks instead of a team who has been playing very well, is headed to the playoffs and overall is having an excellent season. In fact as I mentioned a couple of days ago when all is said and done when it comes to regular season win total this will likely be the best three year stretch in team history. Also, we are obviously a very small community here on this board. I think after the 1000th time people get and understand some folks feeling about Mcilrath and Glass.

Bad penalty by Yandle and it's now 3-1 Pens. Three goals in a two and a half minutes.
We WERE playing great. But as usual, this team cannot close out a period. We have allowed the most goals in the league in the last 2 minutes of a period this season. Unreal. This team simply cannot finish and close out a period. Say what you will, but this team seriously is NOT a true Cup contender. We can't score on a PP, can't close out a period and still can't beat a forecheck when the opposing team takes away the boards. It almost appears like the window for this team slammed shut after last season. No way in the world can this team be a serious Cup contender until these special teams are fixed and this coach realized that he has to change his defensive zone mentality and fire Arneil. Is what it is though. Didn't really think we'd win this game as we've been falling into the whole let the other team get 30-40 shots on goal and rely solely on Hank to win the game for us mentality the past few games.

With pens D still in this game just need the first goal next period. Didn't look at ice time but seemed every time I looked up girardi was out there and can't handle the pens speed or get puck out of zone. Bad last few minutes though

They can still come back because the pens d is suspect. Just a quick observation. The Pens made a good trade getting Hagelin. He has definitely made them faster as team. We will miss his speed in the playoffs. The Rangers on the other hand have gotten even slower with Staal in the lineup.

Yup because if they don't go undefeated the rest of the way there's no possible way they can contend. They put together 10-2-2 and nobody has anything to say. They lose a game and this is the idiocy that prevails.

I know it is only two games but from what I've seen Staal was not worth of giving up Saarela. Draft picks should've been enough.

Our coach is still figuring out how to use a supposedly top 6 player that they just got. At least give Staal top 6 minutes to see what he has left, AV. It is not a rocket science.
