Watched this on TNT for the first time in a long time last night. Awesome movie and still has some of the best special effects I've ever seen.</div>

I thought it was decent but I totally didn't cry or feel bad at the end. I don't think that kind of connection was established.

Well, I didn't cry or anything like that either, and I didn't expect to. I knew what was coming, so it's not like I could be sad. Plus, it's a movie. I don't cry at movies, ever. Regardless of that and how predictable the ending was, I still think it's a terrific movie.

Brilliant.

Iron man

8.5/10

RDJ was amazing.

8/10. Denzel and Russell Crowe were excellent. Josh Brolin somehow landed this movie and No Country for Old Men one after the other, I hadn't even heard of him before that but I liked him in both. The story was a little slow and my interest wavered at times. I liked the ending. Solid movie but not great by any means.

INSIDE MAN.

Starring Clive Owen and Denzel Washington
8.5/10

Dalton Russell(Owen) : Soon I'm gonna be sucking down piña coladas in a hot tub with six girls named Amber and Tiffany.
Keith Frazier(Denzel) : No, it's more like in the shower with two guys named Jamal and Jesus... and here's the bad news; that thing you're sucking on? It's not a piña colada!

That movie was so bad, I'm not even giving it a rating. It doesn't deserve it, and was a waste of my time.

I recently watched the Indiana Jones trio of movies, and even though I've seen em before, I give em 9.5/10 still. The 2nd one was the only one that slightly disappointed, as IMO it was not as good as the other 2.

Has anyone seen National Treasure 2? I'm interested in seeing it.</div>

The second Indiana Jones is a loose remake of Gunga Din, which is the greatest adventure movie ever made--definitely go rent it.
</div>

Ah, I see. I noticed it went away from the..formula(?) of the other 2.

I'm "renting" it right now.

</div>

You get to see why Cary Grant became one of the top five stars, ever . . .
</div>

I took your advice, and wow, it was pretty damn good for a realllllly old movie. I was a lil annoyed with the character, Gunga Din. He was really odd.

Gunga Din: 9/10

When it started, I was iffy on it...but, by the time it ended, I was left wanting to watch more.

Martian Child: 6.5/10

Was a good movie, but got just a lil too corny and dramatic. I liked where it started, not where it ended.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: 10.5/10

Amazing movie. I loved every minute of it. It was unlike any movie I've ever seen. Instant top 5 favorite.

Unforgiven: 9.5/10

Wow. Great movie, all-around. The only negative it gets is that Morgan Freeman dies

Regarding Gunga Din, I agree that Sam Jaffe did not do a great job as Din, but that's what you get in the Old Hollywood where a Jew had to play the role of an Indian. The movie is very well constructed, though, and gripping.

If you like westerns, try High Noon (in which Lee Van Cleef is also a baddie in a small role).

I've only cried once during a movie, and it was My Dog Skip, starring the Malcom in the Middle dude.

Anways,

Better than the original IMO

Iron Man - 10/10

So far, it's the best movie I've seen this year.

On that note, I don't know how long it'll hold that title. The Dark Knight looks like it's going to be amazing and the new Indiana Jones looks badass as well.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (pegs @ May 5 2008, 10:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Is that a porno?</div>
Sort of. Its a porno that they edited down so that Blockbuster, Netflix, etc. would carry it. I remember it got a little bit of publicity when it was released, I think its a softcore porno so its probably not even worth a rent.

Ha...I wasn't planning on renting it

Yeah believe it or not sometimes a very popular porn studio can develop a movie with very elaborate sets and scripts. They can come up with decent stand alone story lines.

I haven't seen that movie though, I'd rather not waste energy on porn when possible.

7/10: Better than the second, not as good as the first. Decent movie but not that great.

Mmmmm Teagan Presley..I'd love to blow some loads in/on her.

Same with Jenaveve Jolie.

7.5/10. Pretty solid little crime-thriller type movie. If you liked Memento you might like this; the main character has a similar mental issue and all of the elements of the story that are shown all end up coming together at the end. Its not great but a nice movie that was relatively unheralded. I like the cast too: Joseph Gordon-Levitt (of 3rd Rock from the Sun fame), Jeff Daniels was great (Dumb and Dumber guy), Isla fisher (aka the crazy redhead chick from Wedding Crashers). Alex Borstein is in it randomly as well. This movie is sort of in the mold of a Harsh Times or Running Scared but with less over the top action. Its more "realistic" and deeper than those two but similar in that its a pretty well done movie that didn't get a lot of acclaim.

Gone Baby Gone 9/10

And I still have a half an hour left in the movie. It's so good, so entertaining, and it really makes you think.

Next up: Teeth (about the toothed verginas), then High Noon.

I got that one sitting on my desk in front of me. Can't wait to watch it, thought it would be better to watch the Lookout tonight because I have an AP test tomorrow and don't want to get too sidetracked tonight. After tomorrow though I'll have the weekend to absorb Gone Baby Gone.

Glad I have Netflix back. School is finally winding down and Warriors and Sharks seasons' are over so I have plenty of time to watch movies. Next up on the queue; Sweeney Todd and Requiem for a Dream.

Iron Man - 9/10

Lacked action, but great storyline and character development, pretty humerous as well.

Total surprise. Adam Sandler in a top-notch serious acting role, along with Don Cheadle (one of my favorite actors) doing a superb acting job as well.

Extremely depressing movie. Sandler's character lost his wife and 3 daughters on one of the planes on 9/11, and goes into one of the deepest funks you can imagine. Beyond that, I won't spoil the movie for anyone who's not seen it.

9/10 or 10/10 even.

What prevents it from being a 9/10?(You seem unsure!)

Heh

Is there such a thing as a 10/10?

Rhetorical question.

Point being it was one of the better drama movies I've seen in years.

I loved that movie. Great storyline, acting and well directed. A must see.

9/10. Really good movie, fantastic casting and storytelling. Makes you think your ass off and everything connects to everything else. Tons of themes to think about. Very, very good movie.

dead_man_walking.jpg

(sorry for the shit image, its Dead Man Walking)
8.5/10. Watching this for the second time in school. Also very good and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
