It's the sequel.

The first one was with Harvey Keitel in the 90's.

It's very good in my opinion. One of the best of '09.

Good movie, but you should watch it in 2D to save a few dollars because the 3D effects sucked. I heard that this movie was originally 2D, but they converted to 3D- that's why the "3D effects" were so lame.

It was filmed in 2d and then converted to 3d because of the new craze over such movies, but apparently they did a really poor technique for converting it to 3d. Apparently they flattened the background along with the foreground into two separate planes, and then decided to make the foreground 2d image into the "3D" by having it stand infront of the background plane. At least that is according to someone else.

Have you read the book? It is fantastic. Much better than the movie, though I agree the movie was good too.

Hot Tub Time Machine - 6.5 - the name says it all, fairly funny, and stupid.

Watchmen 9/10...better than I thought it would be. Super violent/graphic movie though.

The 4th Kind...2/10...almost unwatchable.
 
High Kick Girl -- 5/10 -- not very good. Never seen so much instant replay in a movie, either.
 
The wife and I were in a high-brow mood last night, so of course we went to see "Hot Tub Time Machine". A solid 5.5 out of 10. Exactly as stupid as I expected; I quite enjoyed it.

pretty much what i thought it'd be , good times and semi forgettable.

i was going to give it 6.5/10 but im upping it to a strong 7.5/10 due to the Journey reference.

Observe and Report. Underrated. Twisted, dark comedy. 7.5/10 - not sure why people didn't like it more.

Although I should probably rate it higher, it was a corny comic book movie, not sure why I expected something better.

Pretty good movie. The ending had a good twist.

Really good Swedish murder mystery.
 
Has anyone here seen both Clash of the Titans and Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief?

The only main difference is Clash of the Titans is filmed with darker (grey) lighting. Both main characters are Percius (Percy) and they both have to fight to stop Hades from taking over..
 
Iron Man 2 8/10 I liked it almost as much as the first one.I think this one flowed better than the first one but still like the first one better. The fighting scene at the end was too short for me

Kickass 10/10 Easily my favorite movie I've seen in the last couple of years. Loved just about everything about it. Makes me want to be a superhero
