Jerome earned his minutes. Simple as that... He had a right to say "don't give up my minutes". When a player plays at Kersey's level, then they will get all the time they want.

If Ray came here there is no way we play him more than CJ, CJ is the better player as of right now. He can break a defense down. Ray is a fantastic shooter but that's all he would be... We would probably see him in at the 2 guard (sub Batum out and move Wes to the 3) in the 4th if we desperately need a 3.

I'm fine with that off the bench. He can come in and score. We need that with our second unit.

I firmly believe CJ can consistently as well, he just needs time, and touches. Thad would take some of those touches away. Bench has to develop if we are going to retain our guys and win. The more I think about it the more I hope the Blazers stand pat this year. More importantly I just hope they don't get rid of CJ and give him minutes.

Depending on the situation? I'm afraid that reality says that Ray Allen isn't going to take a back seat to some young kid trying to prove his worth to the league.

He just wants to show up half way through the season, or later, and take someone else's job who's been part of the team and has been busting their arse to get his team there. Yeah, that's gotta be good for chemistry.

The Blazers tried that under Whitsitt. It was a disaster.
