Politics Recall Newsom!

Your state has the lowest population. What does that say about state governance?

Nothing, really. The population has always been relatively stagnant due to factors completely unrelated to governance. There hasn’t been many mass exodus’s or recalls, that I can recall.

Why aren’t their more people living in Antarctica? Because the mayor is a dickhead?

Seems like if greater population is the sign of good governance, which is what you are implying, then your government has utterly failed. It's had many, many opportunities for growth over the years. Why isn't WY an attractive place for more people to move to? It's not entirely due to things outside of government control, like weather and landscape.

That is not what he is implying. He's implying a mass exodus of Californians is a sign of bad governance in California.

California has also gone to absolute shit under Newsom.

$5 gas, 13% state income tax, crime and homelessness out of control, rampant unemployment fraud, all while he dines at the French Laundry with his wealthy donors and laughs at everyone locked down.

No, that's what he's saying. What his statement implies is that population is correlated with governmental quality.

No, that large numbers out net migrations out of California is telling you something.

Yes. And similarly, lack of in-migration to WY is telling you something.

His statement does not imply that. Please explain how it does.

Wyoming hasn't enough population to qualify for a mass exodus unless you want to count ma and pa Kettles and Liz Cheney.

And yet it is still the most populous state in America where Millions and Millions accept it as home. This coupled with their elections say they must be doing something right.

Uh, no.

Your statement doesn’t make sense. California has been the most populous state in the nation for a long time. Why would that indicate effective governing over the last 10 years or so?

Think about it even a tiny bit. It should be obvious. California still has the most people. If it's so bad why are they still here in such large numbers?

The size of the state. The climate. The lack of any southern border security.

IT NEVER FUCKING RAINS HERE. 75 Degrees the whole year.

The people are ass.
The traffic sucks.
The taxes are high.
Everything costs more.
Infrastructure is crap.

But its always sunny. There are nice beaches (to look at, not swim in).

When you live on the edge of a blast furnace...it's not going to rain much but that LA basin is a smog smoke haze magnet....if only you had water that didn't have to come from Lake Tahoe

I never go east of the 405.

Most popular place in LA and biggest reason for millions of residents is LAX....one flight home and you can get the fuck out....nothing to do swith temperature...it's hollywood and the pacific rim

I'm 5 min from LAX. Its great. That's why I travel so much.

The airport itself sucks big huge balls tho

It'll come to you...give it time

I used to go to get Tacos. But now, the eastside is too ghetto. Most of LA has falling on hard times, its a way bigger shithole than it used to be. Garcetti and Mike Bonin (councilman) are fucking terrible. https://www.recallbonin2021.com/

But take Venice Beach for example, I always used to go there. It was chill, sure there were homeless and crime, but nothing like how its deteriorated. I don't even go there once every 3 months, and I used to go several times per week.
