No trade - We basically passed on all star players who would have guranteed us playoffs. Didnt use a once in a lifetime type contract in raefs.

Oden - Quick just said oden isnt getting better and the swelling wont go down Water in his knee and wont likely make road trip. You know hes having surgery...which means frye. (the good news...pryz plays better then oden anyway)

Bayless - Quick says Bayless out of rotation. More sergio.

Webster - Still in boot and we have no idea if he will return.

YAH THATS ALL IN ONE DAY. ONE DAY. Well for all the blazer fans who have talked shit to me for months and keep throwing the 4th in the west shit...sit back and watch cause the pain is coming. Pritchard and the blazers gave up on the season. They must have known oden was in bad shape and did nothing to help us. They called it a season today. We all know it, lets see who is man enough to admit it.

Wow, all in all that is a pretty depressing day. But i'm still trying to keep my spirits up. I'm going to go take a walk.

I am disappointed in your MIXUM. After such a day all we get from you is a 1/3 page post on my 1900x1200 monitor? That's all you have in you? Really? I was expecting a 2 pages post, with images, maybe a flow-chart or a cartoon.

I think you did not get your fresh legs in the all-star vacation. You went out partying too much or something. This is Un-acceptable. Un-acceptable.

Shoot, it really is a disappointing day.

How do you need surgery after banging knees? I am just baffled..a loss for words..I don't know how many more injuries I can take

Yeah that pretty much sums it all up. :sigh:

yes i do have a GF and dont worry im taking a break.

theres nothing left to say.... this team is toast.

the cheers you hear are from the other west teams celebrating.

TODAY FEELS LIKE THE DAY WHEN WE SAW "ODEN OUT FOR SEASON TO GET MICRO FRACTURE"

Can you elaborate on "which means Frye?" For most people, I'd interpret that to mean "Which means we'll see Frye play more." From you, it could also mean "Which means Oden is going to end up as good as Frye."

The first, while pessimistic, would not be classic MIXUM. The second would be. Don't short-change us, buddy.

Is this fact?
We have seen this trend from the Blazers organization before..they dont let info leak out until they can't hide it anymore. Oden simply banged knees and is missing 3 games (could be worse, fortunately we had the AS break)..reports are swelling won't go down, etc..no timetable for return...it just doesn't add up to a speedy recovery.
In no way shape or form to I blame Greg or the team for picking him, but it is evident his bones are very very fragile.
I have no seen a definite link saying surgery is needed, but at this rate, I wouldn't be shocked to see it soon.

wont be fun smart ass when we dont make he playoffs

In the end, the Earth will be swallowed by an expanding sun. In the longer perspective, it's not that big a deal.

For now, Portland has the fourth-best record in the West.

Oden could retire tomorrow for medical reasons and it wouldn't shock me at this point.

just remember that you made a bet to stfu with this crap for the rest of the year once we are a lock for the playoffs.

pretty sure ive seen that fact in a sig here

*hopefully*

normally im totally fine with your 'other side of the coin' approach but there has been so many variations of the same point that it barely has any point anymore, your posts are merely anagrams of your previous content, same points - different order.

go back to at least having some substance.

Oden won't need surgery.

The only really depressing part is that Bayless is out of the rotation.

As long as we continue to win the games we should be winning, this is ok by me for the time being.

We should have won the GS and OKC games, but didn't.

We should have killed NY and Memphis at home but barely won both.

I am glad you are ok with this.

If Oden makes the road trip, I'll be relieved because we are so much better when he's in there..but if he's out for a long period of time..uh oh

Really? I mean seriously? You're even discrediting our wins? Teams win and lose to teams that they should or should not beat every day. It's the nature of... life.

I can play this game too.

We should have lost against the Celtics when we played them without Roy.

-or-

We're a young team and shouldn't be performing as well as we are.

Easy peasy.
