They are. I only paid $190 for them though. Best thing is that I can wear them with nice jeans and still get into bars/clubs with dress codes (have the black on black). Also have taken them to shitty dirty roads, several foreign countries. Great for travelling because I only need to pack these...I can work out in them, go out on the town in them, walk around cities, wear them with jeans or shorts.
the leather doesn't scuff, I can get them shined and they look great.
If you wear them to all these places they must stink really bad.
I'd recommend New Balance for wide feet people since you can order them in various widths.

Sambas are the way to go.The last time I went and bought shoes for basketball, my only request was that they make the statement that I have no game whatsoever.
If I wear tennis shoes otherwise, I wear Adidas Sambas, Adidas Rod Lavers or blue suede Pumas.
Those are all well known Tai Kwon Do kicks.![]()
