I don't like to complain about the refs, but WTF do we need to do to get a PP? Crazy.

Not a great period for us. Great last shift or two, but outside of that I thought the Wings got the better of play that period. Next goal in this game is HUGE.
 
Are the referees letting them play, or are they letting the Wings play?
 
I personally didn't have any issues with the calls on us, but I do think we should have had maybe 2 more PP's. So my issue is some no calls on the Wings.
 
no better a response to the dirty play and the awful officiating then a 1 NOTHING SHUTOUT win... keep it up LUNDY and rest of rangers

This is best game Kreider has looked since that bogus boarding penalty. Hitting with a purpose and much more aggressive. Is an absolute wall to move in front of the net and spectacular deflection goal. Lots of cheap shots by the wings but with no one to answer and these suckball refs allowing it look for it to continue. Need big mac up here now.
 
what is with these Swede's and their face shields..Kromwel has the same type Hags has..what is it protecting
 
This team is really 3 strong lines deep now. 1st time in a long time you could say that. Yes we need another big guy upfront and on D to be complete, and I expect we'll add that this summer, but we have good balance now. MSL and Nash really haven't done much the past few games, but they will get going. And the 3rd line is a very solid 3rd line IMO. A threat to score for sure.

Add in a great goalie like Hank. And a really strong big 3 on D, and we are close.

A couple of big guys added this summer and we could be special next season.
 
Kreider got the wake up call I gave him earlier...LOL. When he is playing with his size and speed we are VERY tough to beat. Two top level lines.

Good night fellas. Needed a win today. Now cap off the 3 game streak with a win at the Canes Tuesday. Felt it was important to go 6 for 6 in those 3 games. 2/3 of the way there.
 
Any coincidence they got better with Zucc in the lineup?
 
MZA completes the team. Gives it the balance needed. When your 3rd line is MZA/Brassard/Pouliot you are in business. All 15 or so goal guys. MZA and Brass get assists as well. Completes the balance the team needs...no doubt.
 
Chuck, time for nash and stepan wake up call. LOL
 
Step has a few assists and has a 6 game scoring streak now. He has been okay recently. Nash needs to wakeup call for sure. He is due for another hot streak like he had prior to the break.

And MSL hasn't done much in his 3 games either. He will get going soon as well once he gets comfortable.

This team has upside.

Rangers Flyers round 1. I have been feeling that for a little while now. I think only CBJ can prevent it.

Captain Dan knows the score goes and gets Hank's 300th win and 49th shutout puck...
 
Very solid W today. Good stuff. Now let's continue the roll in Carolina on Tuesday. Take 2 of 3 on this trip. Keep the points coming. I really like this team. We have good depth and balance. Yes we need size to really be a legit cup team, but we still have some good pieces for this season. Let's see where we can go, and maybe we pull a surprise.

And next season I have a feeling we are going to be a top level team.
