I wonder is she got the idea from this passage?

Has anyone else in here ever spoke with a Muslim about the Kafir they hold? It is difficult to forget.
I suppose it might be sort of surprising though that she just did ship the girl off for more useful purposes. It could be the nanny had not studied enough in her Quran.

Muslims prefer to educate their children in Muslim schools, aka, madrasas. What do they learn in such schools? They learn to read and cram the Koran in Arabic, without understanding the meanings of what they read. But from the very childhood they learn the fundamentals of Islam from the lectures of their teachers, such as:

  1. 1.Christians, Jews and Hindus are mushrik-kafirs, and hence they are no better than animals.


  3. 2.Christians, Jews and Hindus are enemies of Muslims and Islam.


  5. 3.It is not a sin to kill Christians, Jews and Hindus


  7. 4.It is not a sin to plunder properties and riches of Christians, Jews and Hindus


  9. 5.It is not a sin to kidnap Christian, Jewish and Hindu women, and, rape them.


 
Oh baloney! Go ahead, compare the Bible to the Koran, it will be a good learning experience for any that care to do do it.

Mohammad's word in the Koran should be heard by everyone and compared to the teachings of Jesus. I urge everyone to do so as soon as you can. I have, and my conclusions are that Jesus intended to reform the Mosaic religion of the Hebrews into a more forgiving, loving reformation of the Jewish religion. He did not exclude anyone.

While the Jews did not accept Jesus as the prophesied savior much less the son of god, they have reformed their religion, They do not practice stoning anyone like you will find in the Old Testament which is taken from the Torah, the first five Books of Moses.

Islam as taught by the Koran is the word of Mohammad. Mohammad in the eyes of Islam is on a par with Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (The prophet Jesus, not the sun of god). But instead of a reformation of religion as Jesus did, I see it as a regression back to the Mosaic law, even a doubling down on harshness. Perhaps even with disdain for the softness of the Christian reformation. It is extremely exclusionary. You need to read it to understand their view of the Infidel or Kafir. You really do need to read it so you can understand your place in their system. Please do it.

Oh, by the way, I am told I am not a Christian since I can not accept Jesus as God. You do not need to be a Christian to understand the Koran, to learn your place in thier world as a Kafir in their system. I reject this, I think you need to do it too.

I try to avoid these troll arguments. But you brought up some very accurate information. The one thing I would like to add is that all of the Old Testament is based upon Jewish law. Yes, it feels and reeds foreign to us. A lot of things do not translate to today without understanding context.

Often non believers will mock passages, like not wearing two different fabrics, or not to make markings or cuttings on ones own flesh. Sure, sounds odd today, but you understood that in the years that they were given, that many of the tribes not of Israel, that rejected God, had those practices. This was done to ensure that the Jews would not be mistaken as the enemy.

The Bible was forever changed when the Jews rejected Jesus (not all Jews just those in power who were threatened. Kind of like what is happening in the GOP..haha) As the Christian religion was then embraced by the Gentiles at Jesus's death upon the cross, The blessing of ever lasting life was because of Gods grace and what had been given rather than Jewish Law and what we had to do to obtain it.
 
Nothing wrong with believing in God, in fact Jesus seems like a pretty good one to believe in, if you were so inclined. But people who think the Bible is "the literal word of God" are simpletons. There really is no other way to put it.
