Lakers are set at center so that’s one fewer option for Joakim.

Well Noah is definitely better at making plays for his teammates than Simons so let's sign him.

Wonder what the plan is? There is no way the Blazers go into the regular season with....

C: Whiteside/Skal
PF: Collins/Tolliver/Hezonja

....is there?

If Jabari has to settle for the minimum I’d give him a look. I think PF is still wide open for Portland. Everyone knows he sucks defensively but the guy can score and is a decent playmaker. And he’s had good shooting seasons from outside as well, especially in catch and shoot situations, so who knows, maybe he just needs a coach that’ll encourage him to let it fly. I like his fit next to our centers who are, or should be, plus defenders. He’s still only 24. Looking at who’s left, he really wouldn’t be that bad of a gamble. Plus his agent is Bartelstein so I’m sure Olshey has to hit a quota.

With Neil you just never know.

Add Trey Burke as another point guard Id like.

...having said that, the Knicks have them beat:

Julius Randle New York $63 million Three years CAA
Wayne Ellington New York $16 million Two years Priority Sports
Elfrid Payton New York $16 million Two years CAA
Taj Gibson New York $20 million Two years Priority Sports
Bobby Portis New York $31 million Two years Priority Sports
Reggie Bullock New York $21 million Two years Independent Sports

They have beat out the Sun's as the worst run team in the association.

I'm fine with the Julius signing, there is upside.

But the rest of those moves make no sense, just use your cap space in trades to get 1st round picks, you are tanking next season anyways. Why would they sign 35 year old backups like Taj Gibson to 8 figure deals?

It seems that they totally change their direction every year.

Id pass we have plenty of options on offense, we need someone who can defenend as well as accept a 3rd string role.

I think Jabari would want to play too many minutes.

No thanks - he's a poor man's Carmelo without the defensive commitment.

Damn then that’s a pretty good deal for the minimum, sign him up.

Carmelo? Yeah he probably is available for the minimum but I wouldn't sign him. I think we need more defense, ideally a backup PF/C

man getting Jabari would be a dream, i still believe in him, he's so talented

GUYS!!!!!! I HAVE JUST REALIZED THAT JABARI PARKER'S AGENT IS Mark Bartelstein, THE SAME AGENT AS LAYMAN WHO OWN US A FAVOR AFTER THE SIGN&TRADE!!!

c'mon Olsheyyyy
Do you not read the forum? This has been mentioned a lot in here.

Wow Greg Monroe isn't even 30.

Id like us to sign a PF/C... think I'd rather roll the dice on someone with a little upside as opposed to Noah/Monroe.

Is there anyone that qualifies? Center list seems pretty barren to me.
