If Jake gets an offer from ANYWHERE else, I think the Blazers let him go and add another big while still keeping one roster spot open.

Why are you seemingly so okay with letting Jake walk all of a sudden?

As a defender of Layman Island, it's not 'okay with it' so much as it's just the reality of the situation. I've had numerous media people say Stotts seemed irked anytime he was asked about him last year. He yanked him at almost every possibility and now that there are more wings and their high potential Draft pick plays the same position, I just don't see him getting any run.

Better to go somewhere else where they want you and you get a chance to play.

But i sure hate watching players- Barton- Pat Con- Layman go to other teams and become solid role players and even starters.

How much money is still out there? Waiting to see if Toronto, Lakers or Clips get Kawhi but once that’s decided there’s going to be another rush of money to overpay the few remaining decent players.

Only way we have a shot at Korver is if Kawhi stays in Toronto. Korver grew up in LA as a lakers fan. He’ll probably end up there regardless.

I know there are a lot of young projects still out there but we really really need some vets at backup center and point guard. We have plenty of young projects already on the team.

I’m in favor of adding another power forward and moving ZCO to backup center though, for the right guy.

I'd say an extra ball handler and one more big for depth while Nurk is out is more important right now?

Honestly we should just sign Diallo. I know there’s a shooter in there somewhere. If you don’t get it you’ll still get a plus rebounder and athlete who can score around the rim and defend.
