Amir Johnson
Wonder how many mouthpieces he would throw here if he played 41 games here...

I knew he played his highschool ball here, because I remember him being recruited to Ohio state, and also the picture of him running behind tiny little CJ, but didnt realize as well he was born here. Guess I never bothered to look.I'm a little embarrassed by this but I didn't realize Koufos was American. I guess I though he was from Greece.
Dwight Howard and Jeremy Lin?

I'd really like Portland to pick up a real PG as insurance. Not sure who that would be... NBA.com says McConnell is still a FA. Is that true? He might be a good option.Portland still has room to add five more players to the training camp roster. They have one open spot on the active roster as well as one two way.
Quick said they will go into camp without a 15th. The question is will they go into the season with 14 or open the final spot up for competition? It’d probably make more sense financially to add one more two way player. Hoard and whoever else can act as depth without actually affecting the roster and cap. I’m sure they’ll give out some invites either way.

Pacers.
My guess is that he's been offered a contract by many teams but isn't willing to settle for the minimum. What happened to Jeremy Lin? He's fallen so low.
I wouldnt be surprised if he hasnt been offered. I think he’ll eventually land somewhere though. My guess is that he's been offered a contract by many teams but isn't willing to settle for the minimum.

Always cracks me up when people say what rich people should be happy with.Yeah no doubt he will land on a team. Lin has made more than $65 MILLION during his 9-year NBA career. He should be happy with the minimum at this point.
I'm one of those that STRONGLY believe that money can buy happiness. I've been VERY VERY poor and it was the worse 6-7 years of my life. I wouldn't be where I am today without going through that stretch of my life, but I can safely say there was nothing from that period of my life that made me happy. I am far from rich, but money allows you to experience so much more in life.Always cracks me up when people say what rich people should be happy with.

I think we need a PG (even if it's on a 2-way contract), so I applaud the move. This guy coming to training camp.
"London Perrantes came into the PIT looking to show he can excel running a team in a different style of offense than what NBA scouts saw at Virginia, and did a very nice job. He led the tournament in assists, at 8.7 per game, made 43% of his 3-pointers, and played outstanding defense as usual. Perrantes isn't blessed with great size or length, at 6'0 ¾ without shoes, with a 6'3 wingspan, but he has a strong 200 pound frame and has superior overall measurements to those of Fred VanVleet (5'11 without shoes, 6'2 wingspan, 195 pounds) so his dimensions certainly aren't a deal-breaker. NBA teams expressed optimism about Perrantes' ability to carve out a niche, even if he will likely have to do it in a similar fashion to VanVleet. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/London-Perrantes-72586/ ©DraftExpress"

You assume it's about the money...Yeah well it always cracks me up when rich people whine about hitting "rock bottom" when their salary drops from 12 million per year to around 2 million per year.

I'm not holding out much hope that he'll even get a 2-way as his G-League stats from last year are fairly abysmal.
I’m much happier when poor than when rich. When rich, I was terrified of losing money every day. When poor, life has been simple. If I can’t afford something, I can’t afford it. There isn’t anything to agonize about.I'm one of those that STRONGLY believe that money can buy happiness. I've been VERY VERY poor and it was the worse 6-7 years of my life. It’s not about money. Or even winning. It’s about feeling undervalued and no longer being able to do what he loves at the highest level.Yeah well it always cracks me up when rich people whine about hitting "rock bottom" when their salary drops from 12 million per year to around 2 million per year.
