That's very polite of you Darkwebs. My view tonight is a bit more caustic. There just wasn't enough offensive firepower and size tonight for the Stampede after all their injuries and ejection.
I thought you were supposed to sweat during a workout?I think Peck's high school coaching background has a lot to do with the playground style and frenzied shooting. This is just a workout for Crabbe, not a learning experience.
98-79 final. The Horns make the playoffs and we don't. Get this. Instead of the usual boisterous music, they're playing what is this, Christmas music or a funeral dirge. It's a combo and they're not being funy. It's quiet music and the few who didn't leave earlh are quiet. I feel like either crying or going to the closet and pulling out the rum. Which will it be. Which will it be.
The head cheerleader retired and Ellis played his last game...guess that might be part of it
cheerleaders always wear long pants in the D league?
Will Barton must kick his ass in practice
not crashing the boards, hangin out in the 3-t area with his hands in his jersey
Stampede need Adam Morrison
I have to assume Crabbe is coming back to Portland. Stampede is now officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Somewhere there are 495 silent fans with mouths agape and tears drying on their collective cheeks burning their Stampede jerseys in effigy
I've done some research and here's my take on the game:
After Friday night's loss to the Reno Bighorns, the Idaho Stampede's playoff hope is quickly diminishing.
The Bakersfield Jam also lost on Friday, so the Jam are now officially and mathematically eliminated from the playoff race, which leaves the Stampede as the only remaining team who's not currently in the top 8 to have a chance at making the playoffs.
There's only 4 games left to play in the regular season and the Stampede better win out to have a shot at the playoffs. But they only have one home game left and this is it. The 3 games afterwards will be on the road and 2 of those 3 will be against the 3rd and 4th best teams in the league.
This is a MUST WIN or the season's over basically.
I'm guessing this will be Crabbe's last game? We'll see.
