I don’t mean replacing his production, that isn’t realistic, I mean do they make a trade, sign someone, or do they try and hold steady with Kanter and Giles until he’s back?
Safe guess is they try and hold steady with Kanter and Giles while signing some insurance on a two way. That way they don’t dip into the tax. It’s unlikely Olshey can find an upgrade to Kanter/Giles without dipping into the tax. Not right now anyway. So I’d give those two 10-15 games and then reassess.
Sucks it had to be this way, but Giles has a golden opportunity now. Kanter is too limited to rely on for 30 minutes every night imo.
