Re: BREAKING NEWS!

no u must be a very close friend of jason quick coz i started the thread as soon as i heard the godfather break the news =)

haha I am his source that is always getting it wrong ;)

but seriously I just happened to log into Twitter and it was posted by B-Edge

I know it's a crazy thought, but why not let him make one deal or decision before we write his epitaph, hmm?

Thats what I'm trying to do.

Wheels a few years ago: "CHIP KELLY FOR OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR!?!? WHO THE F IS THAT?!?! WHAT HAS HE DONE!?!? BAD CHOICE!!!

Glad I had to eat crow on that one ;)

Fucking fantastic. Can't wait for the rebuilding to start. I'm already sick of this young up and coming team that can't get out of the first round.

Time to ship out the vets like Roy and Aldridge and get some cap space and draft picks.

Fixed it for you. You're welcome.

Definitely found the experienced trade maker they sought out for.

Those of you who keep misrepresenting Larry Miller and the Blazers amuse me. They said their first preference was, yes, for a GM with experience in trades and free agent signings; however, they were not adverse to going after a young up and comer if they thought they'd be the better hire.

Cho is apparently part KP and part Penn. Supposedly a cap guru who has a good nose for talent as well. We will see how he does with trades.....something KP failed at

Brilliant.

Why not wait 40 years until we're all on our death beds before we comment on anything.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

My team as made a hire and I'll comment on it as I see fit.

 You're such a crouton.

Comment all you want on the hire. I'll comment all I want on your idiocy. Free speech applies to all.

El Presidente at least made a valid point. Cho's "green". Inexperienced. We have no idea if he's capable of making deals. Legitimate criticism.

You on the other hand are criticizing the hire based on your baseless assumptions of how he'll do the job. IMO, it's ridiculous.

Yep. I think they've found THE guy who can finally attract big time free agents and orchestrate blockbuster deals. Deffo OKC specialties.

I'm buzzing like fuck right now.

THIS IS IT!!!!!

I wonder which Blazer Dancer he'll select for his girlfriend?

Fucking fantastic. Can't wait for the rebuilding to start. I'm already sick of this young up and coming team on the verge of competing for a championship.

What has Cho done for you to come to this conclusion / mindset about him?

I don't know how I feel yet. I was hoping to get someone with a little more experience.

Good grief people.....they managed to pick the one candidate who might not be a downgrade. If you aren't sighing in relief right now, you need a reality check!

Compared to the flotsam that made up the rest of the pool, Cho was a low risk/high reward pick. This is the first smart decision they have made since this fustercluck started.

Never too soon to go negative.

He has been GM for 30 minutes and hasn't done anything! WE NEED TO MAKE A TRADE NOW!!! (Just had to throw a Mixim moment out there)
