 You're such a crouton.

Comment all you want on the hire. I'll comment all I want on your idiocy. Free speech applies to all.

El Presidente at least made a valid point. Cho's "green". Inexperienced. We have no idea if he's capable of making deals. Legitimate criticism.

You on the other hand are criticizing the hire based on your baseless assumptions of how he'll do the job. IMO, it's ridiculous.

Brilliant. I'm an idiot because I don't want an inexperienced guy running a team trying to win the title.

The guy has never brought in a big time free agent or made any kind of big time deal. The TWO things we are looking for. The president of your team even said that at the beginning of the search.

Yep. I'm the idiot.

Looking forward to all our future cap space and drafts. It's SO fucking exciting.

We hired Caine from Kung Fu to be our GM?!?

You keep ignoring that second part where Miller also said they wouldn't be adverse to hiring an up and comer either.

Don't know anything about the man to be happy or sad!

I LOVE his haircut! Looks like he goes to my barber!

I'll just assume this is a fantastic hire and we're once again moving in the right direction!

11 years in the NBA is inexperienced? Sorry we didn't get a retread GM that's been kicked to the curb by their current employer.

Somebody please photoshop me a picture of Cho's face on Jesus' body! I need a new avatar of our savior....

Can any board geeks dig out the comments when the Blazers hired KP? I wonder if the same people said he'd never been a GM, etc....

Learn to compartmentalize, genius. I'll try to simplify it for you.

He's inexperienced. Yes. I get it. It's true. You're right. Nobody's disputing that fact. You don't like his inexperience. Understandable. Makes perfect sense. I even agree with you here.

But nobody--not Paul Allen, not Larry Miller, not Rich Cho, not Nate McMillan, not Tod Leiweke, not Steve Gordon, NOBODY has ever said anything about rebuilding. To assume that Rich Cho is going to take us back to draft picks and cap space is nothing short of idiocy.

Right because that's the only other option.

In your world of over-generalizing everyone, yes, I believe that's the only other option. If not, name me someone who doesn't fall into either the 'inexperienced' or 'retread' category?

KP already put work in in the 2006 draft before he was fired. It was an easy choice. Too bad the Blazers had to ruin it.
