I started this a few weeks ago and it's pretty hardcore. Anyone here have any MMA training?

I was put in a triangle for the first time and my face went numb and I literally saw stars.

I didn't do BJJ as I've had back issue and was nervous about rolling, so I did Muay Thai training instead... loved every minute of it.
hitting an heavy bag with punches, kicks, elbows and knees is very under rated fun

I've done a little Muay Thai boxing, too.

Before we roll around we do our warmups and those alone tire you the hell out. It's the equivalent to running 3 mils before you play basketball. All core work.

Btw, does Gracie still live in SoCal?

I have done a few classes. It is really fun. I trained with Colt Toombs (up and coming MMA fighter) a couple times. My friends from Southern Oregon are really close with Urijah Faber.

I love fighting, BJJ, Muay Thai, wrestling, all that stuff. It is such a good stress reliever.
