Just defense has always been a thing.
Just ask the guy who wouldn't shut up about how easily he could score on me last year.
Theres a video of him coming up with nothing but air on a 3rd shot in a row. Only for me to tell him he shoots like Westbrook.
The guy was @BonesJones height, certainly not as quick, nor did he have the endurance Torey does. Nor was he as skilled as Torey is.
But at the end of the day this guy trying to 'prove' he can score on me. Let @BonesJones get the game close again and force them to call a timeout.
Only when this guy decided to pass the ball and find our 3rd who was a weaker defender than both Torey and I did they start to score again.
It actually bothers me still a little that I was forced to switch off of this guy because our 3rd wasn't playing tight enough defense on his man. It would've allowed a wide open 3 if I didn't.
Siiigh.
Oh well this year from the sounds of things, we won't have these issues with @hoopsjock & @dviss1
Cause I know @BonesJones can move his feet. If he says Hoops and Dviss can as well. I trust his judgement.

I'll probably be there before everyone. My friend's son is playing early. I'm gonna be OMW there soon as I'm off the plane at 8.

True. Ice water shocks the system. All the water will be on ice but i pull it out and let it sit in the sun for a few minutes. Shake it up and much better.
 
I'm bringing...

For Saturday:

  • 48 bottles of water
  • 4 bottles of Gatorade
  • 1 bunch of bananas
  • 1 bag of Mandarin oranges
  • 1 misting spray bottle
  • 1 pack of wet wipes
  • 1 bottle of baby powder (good for sweaty hands and in case if anyone wants to do the Lebron powder toss before the game.)

Sunday's forecast sounds like it might be a problem, high of 100 and the wind is suppose to shift so we'll be getting smoke from the fires. Any of you guys have asthma?
 
How about we meet at the RIPCITY sign at 10:30am. I want to take pictures of you guys in your uniforms before you play. If you hate the sleeves after the pictures you can cut them off. I'll bring scissors.

Anyone else coming to watch the games it would be great if you showed up then too, get a group shot.

Do you still want to film the games? Could just set up a tri-pod to capture the whole court and then you wouldn't have to worry about it for the entire game haha.
