Too bad he's under contract for 3 more years. Suck it up, Paul.
Cancerous locker room and terrible reputation among players and agents coming up then. Trapped a player by pretending to be loyal to the one player whos ever been loyal to OKC then ship him out first chance. Thats what would happen.

Noted. How about you focus on your own rosters now?

From OKC perspective, there was only one way to get moveable liquid assets. Getting such a high lottery pick and salary relief is huge. And getting off that Russ contract is a priority-- the idea is to build around PG now.

Don't knock it from either side until you see the final rosters.
I Got a guy who will get the Knicks to the playoffs (which they aren't used too), and I don't run the risk of striking out in FA. I also had 0 intention of going after KD or Kyrie. Say what you want about WB (I'm not a fan of him either), but his teams are always in the dance and that's in the west. I can build a team around him in the east that's good enough to be competitive, which for NYK being competitive is so rare they'll hail me as a hero eventually.

76ers don't have enough salary (spare contracts) to deal for someone like Anthony Davis but the smart thing would have been to trade Ben for someone like that at the deadline (when they did have salaries available to package him with) but of course we weren't playing the game then.

@TorturedBlazerFan and I have agreed to complete the trade after draft night. The framework will be Lance Thomas, Robinson, and the #3 pick to OKC in exchange for Westbrook.
Can you guys please not post or talk about this? If the rules aren't followed I have to listen to other teams bitch about not being able to do future trades either. I understand that it's impossible to avoid talking about stuff but this period is for pre-draft trades and you guys are talking about a move that the Knicks don't yet have the space for without renouncing free agents, knowing how many cap holds they will have, knowing how many picks they end up with, etc.

Do it on your own in private, but be aware it could fall through.

Will do, commish.

Pelicans Speaking with New York/Por regarding Anthony Davis.

Hearing Phoenix is taking offers for Jackson and Warren.
Tyler Johnson will also be on the table once he opts in this month.

PF, PGs, picks and cap space wanted

@hoopsjock how do you handle free agency and S&Ts here?
You should probably read the thread, lol.

Free agency there will be forum members who are non-participants that will act as agents and you'll email pitches to them and they'll choose/vote for what the players want to do.

Sign and trades rarely happen in real life. It has already been proven that some people don't understand the rules of a sign and trade and are trying to trade their free agents now. I am happy to discuss a sign and trade with you during free agency but for now everyone needs to assume that sign and trades are off the table.

Pistons Get:

Nene has a player option he has not yet made a decision on and is therefore not able to be traded at this time.

Johnson is opting out of a guaranteed 19 mil?

I swear to Christ if you somehow slither your way into Zion or Ja (who I think could coexist with Trae) lol

He is not getting the 1st. No one is
