Fine. The response was for my team. If someone else wants to take three or four future picks from bones for their star player, by all means.
@Chris Craig it doesn't appear that you get what I'm saying.

@Sarni was asking if future picks are worthless. You responded back that they were. In real life, some of his picks are of extreme value. Just because the future picks of the Blazers aren't potentially as valuable doesn't mean that the Clippers can't pursue value for their assets.

True. Sorry @Sarni just frustrated

Pistons in limbo after aborted Rockets trade. Not entirely fucked, but in limbo, and with new paths to get younger given the players that have been acquired in other trades. Vets still wanted for existing assets

Kennard
expirings who make treys (Reggie Jackson, Langston Galloway, GR3 even did that one year)
picks 45 and 51
Khyri Thomas
Bruce Brown
Svi "Ukrainemaker" Mykhailiuk
I have a TPE of 2.5 million also, so I could take back a cheap player without sending anyone out

failing that, I should probably look to trade Blake.

Huh, this still doesn't work and how did New Orleans get the 5th pick?

Well you have the outgoing and incoming backwards but you have one team getting $34 million and only giving out $10 million.

@PtldPlatypus Think you could help them try and make this work?

How is it backwards? Yeah he has the space. He has a lot of free agents and ungaranteeds. Oh...new league year. shit.

@Chris Craig I think that version would work once the new league year starts. Since it doesn't require cap space like the Westbrook one you can agree to it at the draft. Nothing from this trade would be able to be traded again until free agency starts though.

Pistons/Rockets trade revived!

Pistons Get:
PJ Tucker
Eric Gordon
Isiah Hartenstein

Outgoing: 21,157,222
Incoming: 22,308,376

Rockets Get:
Luke Kennard
Reggie Jackson
Khyri Thomas
Pick #45
Pick #51

Outgoing: 22,308,376
Incoming: 21,157,222

Unfortunately it's difficult to trade as currently i have almost no contracts except for Oladipo and Turner that are the cornerstones. Just letting you know that Sabonis and McDermott are available and I can take some big contract if somehow we can make it work.

If you're trying to make it work why not just wait as per my suggestion?

The outgoing for Phoenix only counts as the lower amount not what the Pelicans are getting.

Can you add up the numbers from the spreadsheets for the 2019-20 season for each side to see how close it is please?

So Phoenix's outgoing would still be higher on paper?

Scott are you guaranteeing Hartenstein's contract?

LOL, I meant add up all the players on each side using their salaries for next year.

I know that was an an accident...look at the edited version

So regarding that AD trade, no way would Suns trade for him, there is no reason he would stay on that POS lottery team.

Okay, so that would work but it has to be made at the draft as a future trade and like I said no one would be able to be re-traded from that until after free agency starts.
